for people who dont think its real, consider the fact that, we have boats designed to shoot water on top of ice sheets to increase the mass of the ice in the north and we have global government meetings to reduce carbon emissions around the world, if that is not enough reality to prove to you that sufficient scientific data has been collected to prove that a super accelerated ice age partially due to our gimassive population of humans emissions of greenhouse gases, is coming, than nothing will.
In just FIVE YEARS between 2004-2009 the thickness of arctic ice has DROPPED 42%.
This was discovered by NASA satellite measurements. Reported 7/7/09

New NASA Satellite Survey Reveals Dramatic Arctic Sea Ice Thinning
Global Warming is changing our world NOW. CO2 is 35% above levels for 650,000 years. In just 30 years CO2 will be over 450ppm, enough to acidify oceans to the point of stopping the growth of many planktons and corals. They are at the base of the oceans' food chain.
This document is a really good read and shows the sheer extent of the warming manipulation, and why when someone says that it's been the hottest/coldest day/month/year/decade on record we should educate them and show them this:

desertification depends on rainfall, not temperatures... they may change rainfall patterns, but this change is not obvious, and may be more complex than most people learn in high school. Guess what is the name of the biggest desert??? ANTARCTICA!!!!!
the thing is , if the polar ices melt , the whole sea around the world will rise alot , cities like NY and cities by the sea will be under water , for example , holland or the netherlands , will be under water
one of my teachers told me that if the ice on greenland (836'109 square miles) melts, the water level of the oceans will go up about 20 feet. That's without counting the ice on antartica (5'405'428 square miles). Most big cities in the world, like New York, Los Angeles or Tokyo, are by the sea. That's just what he told me.
that is true, the planet has gone through climate changes more than once. In fact it goes from cold to hot and back to cold and so forth since ever. But this time it's going faster than usual, that's what is creating such a ruckus. I'm not taking part, I'm just saying

Thats true.3/4th of the planet is occupied by water.Add the melted glaciers of Greenland and Antarctica and you get hell on earth.
CONTRAHABS 2 years ago
the ice caps only represent 4% of the land surface. if they melted completely sea levels would only rise by a mere 3 feet.

I might sound crazy but global warming is a decoy from the real reason. The planet has went through these changes before and it was not due to cars.

I just think whatever happened to the Mammoth and Dinosaures and Atlantis might happen to us.

tsunamis have nothing to with the climate they are caused by earthquakes, massive landslides and asteroid/comet impacts.
