she has a certain poise in her upper body that distinguishes her on stage and sets her apart from any ballerina i've seen. Her confidence makes her dancing so enjoyable to watch. Definitely one of a kind.

I had the pleasure of seeing Merle Park dance Aurora with the Royal Ballet. That was decades ago, but my recollection is that she

did 3 pirouettes (that may not be the correct term in this context) with each fish dive, and those turns were done with lightning speed. Does anyone else recall such a feat of hers or another ballerina who did the same? These fish dives seem slow. I claim no expertise, and my comment is intended as an observation and not an insult to the dancers seen here.

they are great dancers and dance very well together, but unfortunatly they didnt do the fish dive properly...unfortunatly these days no one does =[

She has the Maya Plisetskaya syndrome when it comes to Sleepign Beauty--too mcuh fo a diva figure for the graciousness of the role. Sylve strikes me as more interested in being Sofiane Sylve than being Aurora.
