This guitar rocks. it's the first fender i've heard so far with which you can play more than just you usuall blues. I play alternative grunge metal at least that's what me and the boys define the style by and trust when it comes to troped C# tuning it rocks two thumbs up for fender and this vid to. I'll post a demonstration as soon as i'm don with the studio work.

what do you think of this amp's effects loop? I have heard that you really have to crank the effects and that the loop is not very good on this amp. I'm really thinking of getting one, but want to get a loop pedal and a analog delay and something else.

Hell, I've got a 94' American Standard and 06' Gibson SG Standard. It depends on my mood which is my favorite.

There is shit you just can't do with a gibson and vise versa.

Ain't nothing wrong with a "real" strat.

can the HIGHWAY 1 HSS handle metal? i'm looking for a versatile guitar and the style of metal i'm interested in is metallica.

i have no doubt about the bluesy, classic rock abilities of the guitar but what about heavier stuff?
