  • I think the song is a little.. too boring for the dance! But the choreagrophy is amazing, and so is the dancer!

  • *is

  • Who I this song by??

  • Why do ''modern dance'' style dancers never wear pants?

  • @AliG4life They wear hipsters, it's easier to dance in. Pants can be distracting.

  • @MisaAmaneification Dancers of about all other genres don't seem to mind them. :P

  • @AliG4life That's maybe because in modern you do a lot of movements that make you mind them. And it's easier for the judges, because they gotta see their knees and lines.

  • Hands hands hands

  • mute this and play skyscraper

  • super good

  • if she put emotion into this she would be really amazing but she didn't so it sucks

  • Really good and I know I will see you one day on So You Think You Can Dance good luck!!!

  • This was amazing! Never give up Kaitlynn :)

  • rlly good !!!!!!!!! :)

  • @03Lavagirl loool....everyone can tell u know nothing about dancing

  • she needs to wear like a built in leotard or something and tights. no offense to her but when she spins, everyone sees her underwear. =O

  • @03Lavagirl Um those are spankies and they go with the costume...not underwear.

  • She is Amazing ! her choregraphy is soo amazing ! Yes she is very flexible, you are too negative guys, is it possible to dance with such fluidity and precision without transmitting the emotion? Me, I saw the emotion in his eyes and her head carriage is full of grace ! Bravo jolie blonde ;) Non mais quel chorégraphe !

  • She's very good *_______*

  • Who's the autor of this song ?

  • @BallerinaInnamorataM Take a look.

  • @Contaika What? I'm italian....but how do i have to take a look?

  • this was incredible ii keep watching it over and over again and it continues ti amaze me .. just incredible is what youu are

  • The song is actually called:

    " Look At Me. "

  • @ClickMastery23 look at me by who ??

  • cette fluidité :O

  • This is beautiful. :)

  • @forblueskiesscm I bet she is better than you your just sad you can't do any off tht cause ur jealous I use to be like tht I only took dance or gymnastics than I saw a video off someone like this and I wrote thts not good at all unlike sum one like me could do betterbyour jealous so shut up and don't be rude again

  • @LoverOfBlankClub she looks like she is just going through the motions just to get it over with. just because you feel like the need to put others down to make up for your insecurities doesn't mean other people do too

  • good footwork..no emotion...

  • Scratch that. It's her torso that refuses to be gracefully combined into this dance.

  • This dance, plain and simple, is awkward. She doesn't move her shoulders. She's quite stiff. Sure she's got some flexibility compared to the average human being. But compared to most competitive dancers, she's average.

  • @Aeagle19 TRUE!

  • That was amazing!

  • thats really nice im a dancer to

  • This brought tears to my eyes.. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I so want to do lyrical.

  • @mika14loves yeah everyone at my studio calls them booty shorts. Spankies are much shorter- more like underwear than shorts

  • Who sings this!? And good job :)

  • @mika14luvs yeah, I know but some people call them booty shorts haha(:

  • @savannarockstar those are her dance booty shorts...not underwear...haha

  • @Dewyzelover ummmm im pretty sure they are called spankies or they are just spandex shorts tons of dancers where them

  • Who songs this song?

  • Is it just me or can anybody else see her underwear.?

  • Its amazing how though she doesn't have the worlds best technique she has such great expression that it makes you love this dance.

  • It's amazing how she can make movements - that half the population could never even pull off - look so casual. <3

  • Omg this is too awesommeeeeee -3

  • I like the song and the dance

  • four girls at my studio did a dance to this. by the end of the year you could just tell all the emotion that they put into this dance was real, and for each other. The love that can be channeled through this song strengthened their relationships to great heights.

  • She sucks ..

  • wathing these videos makes me wish i was good at dance...

  • Lift ur knees on ur attitude turns but u have a lovely technique ") One thing I have noticed from watching some of these videos am not from the US and i was kind of wandering why all these dancers are suffering from what I have dubbed 'Ballerina Backs' in other words their backs are stiff and rigid like some1 who has been doing ballet for years. I received basic ballet training but my back is quite flexible. Maybe its due to a difference in culture ")

  • This is great she was only 12

  • great dancer, great performance, wrong bottom color!!

  • were do u go to dance

  • you are a very beaautiful dancer but i think you should connect with the music a little more and loosen up a bit but otherwise you are soo good

  • I sometimes watch these dances with the music muted. just to see if they really care or put emotion in it at all. Sometimes the music supplies the emotion for them, and it just isn't as beautiful.

  • @bluejeansrcool yeah, i dance ballett, but maybe i want to try something else, and this kind of dance is sooo beautiful ;)

  • @pointeprincess20 thank you!!!

  • can someone tell me what sort of dance this is? (with sorti mean: hip-hop, jazz, ballett...... this sort) i've seen some of this girls here at youtube, and i like the style of the dance. would be nice if you answer me, thanks!

  • @AmaryllisBlume im pretty sure this is lyrical.

  • @bluejeansrcool thanks!

  • @AmaryllisBlume yeah, this is my favorite too. ;}

  • @AmaryllisBlume contemporary/lyrical

  • turned out turns need a turned out prep... but I did like the turn at @1:08

  • I think she is the best 12 year old dancer ive ever seen...... o_O amasing! And for all you people that think she would fit better as a gymnast than a dancer... emh Im a rythmic gymnast and im also a dancer, In both of these activities u have got to feel the music and dance and be in it... but yeah she is really good!

  • this style makes me wish I could dance.

    BAH

I wish I could do a lot of things

  • really don't think shes good. wheres the emotion? wheres the strain? wheres the light and shade?

yes, she flexible, she should be a gymnast. not a dancer, I don't want to keep watching her.

Its ashame what competitions like this can do to some dancers.

  • @forblueskiescm i agree with you 100%. i mean yes, all the competition dancers (including me) want to always outdo turns and have more flexibility but they can't forget musicalityy. it might be cool to watch, but with no passion, no one will remember it to the end

  • @forblueskiescm personally i agree with you that she is missing a lot of what makes a dance a dance. but i dont think shes flexible enough to be a gymnast. Speaking as one who dances and does gymnastics, she wont make it very far in gymnastics with her flexibility.

  • @ilycutie4ever uhh.... what are u talking about? This girl has excellent flexibility, and flexibility is something that can always be worked on and improved. And what exactly is she missing in her dance???

This girl is talented and can do very well in gymnastics and dance.

This is a gymnast and dancer speaking, fyi.

  • @gymnastparexcellence past a certain age, it becomes extremely hard to work on flexibility past a certain point because of the amount of the growth that the body went through already. If you were a gymnast and dancer, you would know that. That is why we start at a young age. I am not saying she is not talented, but I do not think she is talented enough to be amazing nor do very well, especially in gymnastics.

  • @forblueskiescm Why can't you accept that she's good. It's like people have to find fault in her dancing? She can't be good? It's undeniable very good! Maybe not perfect, but it is indeed very good! She's a very fluid practised dancer.

  • @forblueskiescm You are so wrong....but she could have more emotion....It did not really make me cry..,.

  • this is beautiful... such an amazing dancer

i also love the costume! - where did you get it from as i have a new solo and looking for a costume similar to this..

    message back :) x

  • WHO SINGS THIS?

  • Look where she is now ! Kaitlynn has improved greatly!!! Its hard to connect with the music when your little because you can't relate the song lyrics. Cut her some slack!

  • well medievalmusicology thats why ur username is musicolgy... this little girl, especially for her age is a great dancer and she has potential, plus i do understand what the others are saying about the judging but it is also called lyrical dancing it isn't suppost to be ballet, modernn or jazz... it is a mix. I isn't perfwect it is just a dance with HIGH emotions! Duhh... you want to coment about her, first study dance. Common Sense

  • i felt no emotion from this girl at all... if your gonna do a lyrical or a pretty song you have to atleast connect to it and actually be flowy and gentle... she looks stiff and like shes been forced to do this dance... 3 out of 10 for me -.-

  • this is awesome! I have been a dancer for 9 years now and this is beautiful! (love the song)

  • Technical skills are great, but she NEEDS to finish all of her movements. The choreographer highlighted her "tricks" but the rest of the dance doesn't flow and lacks musicality. This dancer is not telling a story with this dance, and that's what a lyrical routine is all about. Again, technique and performer is beautiful, but not a fan of the routine. sorry.

  • in general i really like the choreography, but why are her arms always so straightened? n some moments i'd prefer a more softer move ..

  • she's so beautiful. amazing. amazing. awesome. *_*

  • kaitlynn you are a BEAUTIFUL dancer, i hope liz is doing much more for choreography with you now with all your talents. i was a dancer for 15years before i made the mistake of quitting. you're going to go far, never stop!

  • you can see your knickers

  • @d23lvp a little harsh... But i honestly kinda agree. Iv been dancing for 11 years and the thing that sticks out the most for me were her arms and hands... Youre right, they were kind of like lobster claws, no offense to the dancer, its just something she needs to work on! :) otherwise, i thought her leaps and leg extentions were fantastic! Also, she needs to work on her expressions, they were blank the whole time..

  • i LOVE your arm extensions, they're gorgeous. great job overall! <3 :)

  • just to clear the air i am not ragging on her at all. she is a beautiful dancer i am commeting on the competitions. she has grown into one of my inspirations actually

  • ok i have been dancing in competitions for a while and i yeah i have noticed that too... the judges dont really judge the dances on the passion and feeling the dancers put in... they base it off the flexibility and turning ability of the dancers. I dont think people should get discouraged if they dont score high at them especially if they know they dance for the true passion of it. She has the flexibility and turns but i think she needs to she much more passion for the art.

  • mediocre choreography, no musicality, no heart or passion, and the WTF is she doing with her hands? they're in same 'lobster claw' position the WHOLE TIME. Would it kill you to take a ballet class with a teacher who has actually danced professionally?

  • @d23lvp she is 12 years old... im sure she still has lots more training to do where she will learn musicality, and learn how to put emotions into it. way to be rude and pretentious.

  • J'ai adoré ! Tellement beau !

  • Brown hot shorts would of been a good idea.

  • Shes amazing, but i didn't feel any connection. She need to really connect with the music and the movements. but overall very good.

  • you guys no nothing about choreography do you dance? dont think sooo. ;)

beautiful job yoou remind me ALOT of me. haha

  • wery nice

  • that was really gud except for too many leg lifts

  • You can dance the dance very well with what you have been taught, but what teaches cant teach is emotion and thats something you have to find with in yourself. This dance would be 10 xxx more beautifukl if we had you connecting with the music.

  • Браво мала, одлична си.

  • Songs Called Coe To Me I Think

  • @NikkiGetsLow34 Its called Look at me

  • @dancer71591 Ohhh Ok Thx :) I Lyke Dat Song :)

  • This girl's got talent. Most lyrical solos are of girls who worry about technique too much. You can tell she's feeling this song... Bravo!

  • hey everyone! i looked up this song!

its not called Come to me. its called Look at me by Keri Noble! (:

    Enjoyyy

  • .....i noticed no facials....but she had good leg extensions

  • who is this by?

  • i love this dance and the song is awesome!!! who is this song by?

  • this dance is so pretty!! and i love the song!! who is it by?

  • this is amazing. your leg extentions are amazing. keep it up girl!

  • she makes this look very easy and you can tell that she's practiced this so much that she doesnt need 2 think about the dance or the music anymore but instead give emotion to the movement and dance in the moment.... very beautiful!!!

if u dont mind me asking... where do u dance??

  • @annie55435 she dances at SDW - Spotlight dance works.!

  • who sings this song?

  • She's about 17 now. I saw her this past season at this competition. She normally is inducted into that years Hall of Fame for her division, but thisyear some boy (I don't know who) was. She still did excellent. Look at her newer stuff like the dance she did to Captivated. It's just brlliant.

  • i dont no if you no this but it takes alot of guts 2 get up on a stage in front of people and do wat their doing!!!!!! trust me ive been their so why dont u back off and if u have nothing nice 2 say dont say anytning!!!!

  • I'm not trying to be nasty here, lol, but I just thought I'd point something out: She's only 12 here. She's 16 (maybe 17) now; she's heard all these corrections before xD

  • The Song is called look at me by keri nobel

  • that's a really pretty costume. haha.

  • who sings this song?

  • i love dancing in competitions but the one thing i noticed is that the only people who win can do amazing turns and have great flexibility! they dont care about how you dance to teh music and i just hate it! i mean im ok at it but i make sure im with the music at the same time. my teachers arent depending on turns and flexibility for me to win. they want me to do wat i can and not show off! i just hate how some of these competitions are judged

  • @loldancer1748 VERYY true. and when it turns into who has the most flexibility and who can do the most turns, all the dances end up looking the same. Dancing is more than just splits and turns. Keep doing what your doing, work hard and you will be amazing, dont let these things get you down! XD

  • @loldancer1748 same here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @loldancer1748 I AGREE!!!!!!!! its all about showing off what tricks you can do! its like each and every dance is a serious of relativley difficult moves linked only by the preparations. the whole dance is showing how you prepare for a move and then they do the move. its stupid

  • @loldancer1748 i can understand where your coming from, but to be honest, i would prefer watching something with a bit of flare to it, flexibility and things like that shows the judges that they have and will be committed to their work, you can be flexible and do turns etc, it took me a while to get my body to do the things she does on here, it just takes time and i know not everyone has flexibility as good as other but you do need it there tbh!!! sorry but its just my opinion xx

  • @loldancer1748 i agreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @loldancer1748 You do realize... The whole point of a competition is to show off, right?

  • @loldancer1748 i agree! and some dancers have great technique, but they have no passion. i think to win you need to have passion and not just incredible technique.

  • @loldancer1748 and people who give all there emotion into.! the jumps are just extra.. this type of dancing is meant for flexibilty. there are other compettions that judge your dancing but thats nots this,!

  • @loldancer1748 They work their asses off to just get one more turn or that little but more flexibility. I think they should be allowed to celebrate their success and show people what they can do. Otherwise, what's the point?

  • @teenbeautyaddict i'm not saying that they shouldn't be happy that the do have their turns down or way more flexibility. i am just saying that musically should be just as important as technique wise

  • @loldancer1748 I'm not a great turner but i have good flexibility;but I didn't do many"flexible things"in my solo last year.At a competition I got platinum and 7th place in the teen solos.Teachers put stuff you can do in your dance, things that show your strengths and they make sure it's clean. The dancers that win show their strengths, are in time and clean.I'm 99%sure the judges care if you're with the music or not and if you have good technique.I know you said some competitions do that but yeah

  • @loldancer1748 ya but she does all dat... they are looking for da complete package not just someone with presentation but wif talent

  • @loldancer1748 i tottaly agree with u

  • she has beautiful form. its amazing

  • :( I dislike competitions. all i see in them is poses and crotch shots. and kids showing off their flexibility rather than really dancing. This is why I enjoy classical ballet sooo much more!

  • no offense..but yur not that good.. you can just do the dance moves and that's bad choreography it isn't even a dance..just poses..get a real choreographer

  • I think the dance would have been better if she had her hair down. but thats just my opinion. I don't like the slicked back hair style, especially for solos.

  • what is this music?

  • i like this. shes not a robot like most people i see on youtube(: choreo was blaaahhkk though.

  • pretty dancer, terrible choreography.

  • i feel like u weren't feeling the dance and choreography, it didn't convince me

  • @Momilli101

    totally agreed

  • I am a dancer and I think she will go very far!

  • i dont hear any music either..

  • Okay, Good dancing.. But if you're going to wear something that short, Wear shorts. It took me a few seconds to figure out that wasn't your underwear. So just keep that in mind next time. k? :)

  • I can see her panties xD hihihii

  • @supersebra not panties, dipshit. leotard.

  • Look how much she has improved!!! Her newest solo is amazing!!

  • Cheorography was boring.

  • my name is kaitlynn too! :)

  • Who sings this song, it's beautiful ! :) and so is she

  • i thought it was great ! you dance beautiful.

  • I'm sorry to say but I'm not overly impressed by this although I'm sure its just the choreography. My favourite would still have to stay with Jordan Cassonova.

  • I thought it was beautiful.

  • one word: WOW!

  • Too fast and moving quick to the next move. I myself am a dancer tho not skilled in the competitive feild.

  • very good. i love the song and the costume, plus you have amazing extension :)

  • awesome i wish could do that :) but i am a fencer :(

  • Your a very beautiful dancer

  • song is look at me by keri Noble

  • could they not give her some spanks for under her costume??! it looks like her under wear.

  • she is such a good dancer she defenetly nows what she is doing great job:D

  • very very good. buther hands need work. i want to chop them off.

  • No offense but this competition is in SERIOUS need of dancers who communicate with real coreographers. I've watched several videos now and each one either has horrifically blah coreography like this one, or they turn a little potential gymnast into a dancer by adding a few moments of posing. Honestly folks, would it kill you to watch some Twyla Tharp before you send your kids to these competitions dancing as if a 3rd grader composed their routines?

  • @medievalmusicology totaly agree=) i mean this girl shes beautiful and her skills have so much potential! but the choreography is very very disappointing....if she was pushed to her limits, she could have performed a fabulous dance!

  • @GOdanceCHICK Twyla Tharp. You have some style. I love her. You heard of a guy called Christopher Bruce? Pina Bausch?

  • @medievalmusicology Twyla Tharp. You have some style. I love her. You heard of a guy called Christopher Bruce? Pina Bausch?
