nina is soo cute too :3

  • OMGG I LOVE HER SO MUCH I'M LAUGHING ALL THE TIMEEE

  • geof, have you ever watched robert d niro's A BRONX TALE ??

let me quote something from there: "The saddest thing in life is wasted talent"

for you guys, thump up if you think that nina is a natural born actress

  • @InGUNable I saw A Bronx Tale years ago, but didn't remember that line. We think Nina has lots of talents, so we want to support her in whatever she is interested in, so that she can find the talent that best suits her.

  • nina's vid really lighten me up from the boredness of my homeworks.. wish i have a child as bright as her in d future.. >.<

  • Gohrl- made me think of Dave Grohl :p

  • from my point of view, her english is good for someone who does not use english as her first language.

    keep it up nina !!!

  • @vanillasky9009 Thanks! That is encouraging to hear!

  • Sweetest thing ever is to hear her say "the Mama is Japanese and the Papa is from America and the little squirrel is like me!" Isn't it amazing how she views the world a little differently because she has a diverse background? She is so lucky.

  • @Luciditi Yeah, it's interesting to see her awareness of her diverse background start to grow.

  • What the heck!!

    Nina Dad Wannbe~

    so cute!!!

  • Gohrl. LOL!

  • OMG, she should has her own show!!!! hahaha.

  • hahaha, she can't say squirrel yet. it's so cute. and it's impressive how she made up the name of mama squirrel and kid squirrel on an instance, Mary Divy, and Mary Kerika, lol, Nina makes me laugh and smile all the time!

  • @radziahradzi I have no idea where she came up with those names.

  • kawai~~~~~~

  • hahahaha nina's house....

  • GOHRL XD ohemjee i love this

  • I love how she placed mama squirrel back or in the bedmaking video where she takes the time to make sure that the pillows are straight... she is so meticulous ! So cute !!!!

  • @melquynh You're right. Nina always pays attention to small details.

  • the boys from.. NHAOIGFNAUONAGUOBNG. euhhmmm.. YEA! AMERICA. ahhaha

  • Hello! :) I enjoyed watching Nina's videos. :) i teach English to some Japanese children online. Nina will surely be an inspiration to them! :)

  • wow

the chair she made is one awesome design! (look from an architecture student's point of view :D )

  • haha now i have watched every single video from nina:-))) i want to shar a wish now : can´t you install a webcam so that i can watch nina everyday ?? (just joking) but i have to say i miss her if you let go so much time until you post a new video from her :-DD many thanks for so much lovely laughing and smiling during all the videos :-) your fan chris from germany :-) (i watch until she is old maid i swear ;-) )

  • @anamalikat A webcam would be a little scary. ha ha I'll post more when I can.

  • Im still sleepy let me sleep!!! lol that was cute!!!

  • It was interesting to me that Nina didn't know what language the Kid Squirrel spoke, and yet she identified Mama Squirrel as Japanese and Papa Squirrel as American. It was apparent to me that she identified herself with the Kid Squirrel which made me curious to see if she would say "Both Japanese and American."

  • @Tobleroneisbomb Yeah, I thought the same thing, but for some reason baby squirrel speaks "squirrel".

  • My husband does not use much English. Sometimes I help my oldest son a few words in English. is important because it is a universal language. his daughter is studying in Youtien?

  • Hi, I live in Aichiken, yes I have two children, the child still has four years. I found it interesting his method of teaching English. Your daughter is very smart

  • @Superfashionjp1 I think we do the same thing that you and your husband do. I use English and my wife uses Nihongo, just like with Nihongo and Poruguese in your home. We have no special method. Does your husband speak English as well?

  • LOL! If it weren't for the subtitle I would have thought she said squirrel mama is Marie Digby. :P

  • @gudgrl me too!hahah

  • wrwrwrwrwr is banana? LOL

  • I love Nina~!!!

  • hi! i just watched ur child eating bento with you. couldnt wait exploring more of your videos! :) btw, are you american married to japanese or you guys are both japanese? because her face looks like she is mixed-blood. she's lovely! :)

  • @wayarhitam Yes, I am American. And, thank you!

  • ahhh that was so adorable.

  • Nina so Cute >_< choukawaii~ ^0^

    from Thaijin ^^

  • congratulations, NIna talk english very well!!! so cute, very good, see it growing, learning every day, I think it's very important to know English.

at home I speak in Nihongo and my husband speaks in Portuguese ...

I think we need to introduce English as well ...

good examples you gave to us ..

  • @Superfashionjp1 Do you have children? Where do you live? Sure, you may as well throw some English in there as well. ha ha

  • I am so happy. I was kissed by beautiful girl. Thanks Nina.

  • I just get to know your vids from my friend who post it on facebook. The mochi2 song. :D and later on I'm falling in love with your family. I'll be watching Nina to grow up from now on. cant wait for more videos.

  • This was super cute! Nina is so smart and creative.

  • loved the hd and as usual nina is totemo kawaii~! *wrrrwrrrWrr*

  • I love nina! she's soo adorable. I want to have a daughter like her. She's witty and funny. I admire your father daughter bonding.

  • i like the big grey bunny behind Nina...LOL~

  • Wow! I haven't seen toys those in years! I had the little grey bunnies that came in a dollhouse. 懐かしい!!

Adorable video, as always! :) Sylvanian families, eh? Must google this...

  • nina is soo cute!

  • I love the slippers in front of the toilet! How Japanese! :)

  • How Sweet! OMG that is so sweet! She is so darling explaining everything.

  • wrrwrrwrr!

  • Oh my! I played with Sylvannian Families 20 years ago! Hours and hours of fun with all the little animals and furniture etc. I bet Nina has just as much fun with them all. I didn't have a language for mine though, hehe!

  • Dad, WAKE UP! I love that part. She's adorable :)

  • @jeNiNifervang TOTALLY!

  • nina inspired me for every condition. i've got her video in every i opened youtube.u're so LOVEABLE nina. we love you :)

  • those toys are so cute!!

  • :) Aww, lol what a cute squirrel house, :) She's getting so big and creative!

  • I loved sylvanian families as a child. Romaysa is the same when playing with her doll house. mummy is always from Scotland and Daddy from Pakistan. She is also aware in the languages spoken at home. The other day she is pretending to go to Japan and Taiwan, lol.

  • @laurynkaneshiro Do you know where the Sylvanian Family series comes from? It seems European.

  • @geofg I searched it on google.Apparently its a Japanese company who made them. But they was really popular in the 90's in the U.K , as i loved them but they are really expensive here. Its more of the pricey toys sold here. They do have a European look which is i guess is "cute"

  • @geofg started in japan in 1985 and then Tomy took over and changed the named to Calico Critters in N. America…this video has inspired me to start collecting…at 23! lol…they're one year older than me haha…but they're so dang cute!!!! and expensive :(

  • @acd719 Thanks! I guess I could have Googled it myself to find out. I wonder if they are still selling it as Calico Critters in N. America.

I do really like the style, cute but not too... pink.

  • @geofg they have them at specialty stores and you can buy them online at target

  • SYLVANIAN FAMILES! I used to have these when I was little, and I'm 22 now! Mine didn't have such a nice house though...

  • @InterProductions1 I didn't realize the Sylvanian Family doll houses had been around so long.

  • nina's getting better with the english language...and she's getting prettier too :D i'm looking forward to more videos because nina's videos really brighten up my day..i never get tired watching it over and over. i've even memorized some of her lines and songs :-p

  • Nina is sooooo sweeeeeeeet <3

  • Good nite Papa :)

  • shes the cutest thing ever! <3

  • Nina's vids make me smile :)

I've been following her since she was teeny tiny and she just gets better and better. You're very lucky, and so is she :)

  • @MekongPlease Yes, you have been commenting for years! Thanks for checking in and leaving a message.

  • KDGJHGSAJGAJHLJL

    AHHH. SO CUTE!

  • 1,911 views, that means Nina and you have made 1,911 smile. (: Thank you.

  • "DAD WAKE UP!"

lol! what a gentle way to wake someone up xD

  • @celeste0027 On Sunday mornings (the only morning I can sleep in) she really does wake me up like that. She also throws open our curtains and lets the sun in (at 6:00 in the morning!).

  • this is just amazing. i never doubted the wonderful way of learning through role playing and stuff. kids just work on their imagination and the end results are amazing. :) great job nina

  • "...and toilet!" bwahahaha ^^

  • 3 little squirrels! I love the part when she told that the papa squirrel is from america like you, and the kid and mama are like her and mama. mini family of you. very cute. and I agree with @cerfpapier that now she's trilingual. lol. she can speak squirrel language too. have nina ever ask you to get a real squirrel or any other pet?

  • @mejikuhibiniu12 Nina REALLY wants a pet. She loves guinnea pigs (they call them marmots in Japan) but they are hard to care for, I heard. We have fish, but they aren't too exciting. Our condo won't let us have cats or dogs, so we're thinking maybe a hamster or a bird...

  • @geofg a bird would be like having another kid in the house. they are loud and annoying, get a hamster, they are easy to care for and are soo cute! :) and guinie pig isnt that hard to care for. its like having a hamster, but easier to clean the cage because it doesnt need tubes to crawl into. tubes are hard to clean.

  • @Julliaz i've had birds and hammies! birds are nice…but very needy, can be loud, and a bit messy…hammies are boring…they can disappear easily and they STINK!! pew!!

  • Omg, I used to have the same dolls when I was kid only mine didn't have such a nice house, they only had a swing and some stupid hill. Aren't there more of those animal dolls like a bear boy and girl?

  • @VivivBeaverhausen The ones I saw only had squirrels, but I'm not sure.

  • Oh no, the secret's out - she's trilingual! She can speak Japanese, English, and Squirrel! :) I also adore her pronunciation of girl, so sweet. If Nina's anything like my friends and I, she'll be collecting a lot more Sylvanian families in the future!

  • @cerfpapier We (Mama and Papa) really like the Sylvanian family doll houses as well, so you may be right.

  • cute girl you have (^-^)

  • Aaawwww....what more can I say =)

  • She's going to start documenting your life one of these days.

  • @Yakerina Yeah, I think she'll be ready to start making her own videos before long so Papa can get some other things done. ha ha

  • You are adorable, Nina! I have a question for dad. When my daughter was little , she had a beautiful doll house, BUT with people..a family, extended family and their pets, etc. Not squirrels. I think I have only ever seen little ones here play with people in their dollhouses . So, I am curious, as to why the difference? We were very close to a little Japanese boy and girl here, and the girl never had a doll. kathleen had so very many and she loved them all from baby to Barbie. Not so there?

  • @mohjoh1947 Nina does have a couple human dolls, but she has by far many more animal dolls. It's an interesting point, and I don't know the reason. This doll house, with the squirrels, comes from Europe, I think. It's part of the Sylvanian family.

  • いやー、コメントの数がすごいw

    ニーナちゃん人気者ですね\(・o・)/

  • @barizougon 最近ちょっと人気者になったんですよ。ニーナが自分で返事書けばいいのに。笑

  • She's pretty good in holding the camera and filming. Nice job, Nina!

  • @AndreR241 Nina only holds the camera for the first 30 seconds or so, but I think I will let her make a whole video of her own sometime.

  • @geofg I thought so. I'm really lloking forward to her first "own" video ;)

  • hahaha. I got on here to do research before class and snuck in a nina vid LOL! >_<; had to keep the volume low kekeke. I wish my animal toys were that cute D:>;; my squirrels and other creatures were too realistic >__>;;; kinda creepy I guess. Have fun Nina~!

  • Cute toy house and cute-cute game she plays.

Love when she wakes up the squirrel papa and then put it back in bed ^__^

  • @WoodGirl14 ha ha Just so you know, that Papa Squirrel is not like me. I sleep the least of anybody in this family.

  • This is unbelievable! :D She's soooo cute! "He's from America, like Papa too!"

  • That was so cute! :D I love the sylvanian families too:)

  • GOHRL!

ahh nina's english is really good now! :>

  • hahha..the mama squirrel is mary divy (this name looks like a ship's name) and the kid squirel is mary kireka...how a beautiful name, nina...where she get those name??the kid's imagination is always made me surprise..

  • @MsFesty Those names really surprised me. I have no idea where she got them.

  • LOL she forgot about "America" hahhahahaaahahaha. Damn Nina, I want to be your Little Squirrel too!

  • Love this squirrel family Nina. My sister used to live in London and they had real squirrels living outside their kitchen window. They called the boy, Cyril squirrel. I'll ask her if she can speak squirrel language.

  • @aussieellen Did they feed the squirrels?

  • Gohl - good one Geof. Me and my friends started using the verb "frip" by the way.

We have a lot of mosquitoes here so we always say they fripped our legs :) lol

  • @mishels ha ha ha ha "frip" is still a mystery to me, but mosquito season has come, so I'll have to see if Nina uses it again.

  • Oh wow @ the huge huge breakfast. *Looks delicious especially those acorns*

And what a lazy PAPA squirrel couldn't even sit in a chair for 5 min without going back to sleep. *hehe*

Tell Nina I say "WrrRRrrwrrRR wwhrr" LOL

  • @melzaelf The acorns were Nina's special addition to the meal. She found them in our local park.

I think you said either, "I can speak squirrel a little!" or "I love green bananas." I'll run it by Nina to see.

  • wow! her english is getting better! good job nina!!!

  • i'm gonna get one of those squirrel families myself... for me :)

  • @sauron1grenoble I want to live in that squirrel house.

  • "this squirrel's from Japanese.. and the boy's from.." hahah <3 extremely cute

  • Cute Nina, like always!! It's a great surprise wake up in the morning, and found a Nina's Video on my YouTube homepage!!

It's like i have been expecting this the entire week!!

So cute when she said that the squirrel's papa was from America ^^

  • Heheheh tricky Geof! "What language does the baby speak???" Hahah I would;ve asked the same thing for a certain project.~ =)

  • @kemushichan I guess the repressed linguist in me showed through. That would make an interesting dissertation: Mother speaks Japanese, father speaks English and child speaks... squirrel.

  • So cute~!

Does she call you and your wife, "Mama" and "Papa" or does she call you all "Okaasan" and "Otousan"?

  • @iMisaProduction I'm always Papa (or occasionally, Geof) but Mama is sometimes okaasan.

  • "wrrwrrwrr" such an interesting interpretation of what a squirrel sounds like! =P

  • @Hyak44 Yeah, if you asked me what a squirrel sounds like, I would be at a loss. Wrrwrrwrr sounds about right to me.

  • GOHRL!

  • she must be so lucky to have a dad like you. cool!! she getting cuter and cuter by the day!

  • awww nina is so adorable!!! wrrwrrwrr hahahaha :)

  • i am always happy to watch nina's new video!!

  • oh how I miss Nina... she's getting SO big!! and her English is improving so quickly!

  • i thought nina is the one holding the camera. =P

  • @JunTakashi00 In the beginning, it was Nina holding the camera, but she kept banging the camera into the house, so I took over. I think I will let her make a video of her own sometime, though.

  • Loved the good night kiss.

In these settings should there be an inu or neko too?

    A :D video.

  • That just made me cry happy tears. It reminded me so much of my childhood.

  • @Sephirah777 It's good to remember what life is like for a 4 year old. I'm glad it brought back happy memories for you.

  • Aww that was so cute! I'm so jealous of her little doll house, it's so cool :)

  • gohan ageru toka....lol. What a great imagination!

  • Wow, she's adorable. I remember posted a comment a couple months back and tried to reply to your response but youtube was buggy and I couldn't post.

This video just popped up on my homepage. All of this will be so cool to watch together when everybody in your family is older. I wonder how much we hold on to from our youth.

  • @crazyfoool Yeah, I'm sure Nina will get a kick out of watching these vids when she is older. I wish I had vids of myself (and my parents!) from when we were young. I remember so little of my own childhood.

Sorry you couldn't comment before. I know how buggy YT can be.

  • Oh....I falling in love with you Nina :D you are so cute >w<

Let's speak squirrel language sometime ;D

  • That's cute that she made the family international, like yours.

  • Such a cute little video!! It's as if her English just keeps getting a little better each time, too! By the way, if you don't mind me asking-I'm wondering-Are you the only person in her life that speaks English? If so, maybe you should take her to an English daycare or something? It could help bring her up to speed with her great Japanese skills?

  • @AntarcticSake Yes, I am her only English influence, and I've been thinking hard about how to give her more opportunities to be in an English environment. We thought about an international daycare, but she has so many friends at her current daycare, it would be sad to take her out of that just for English. Another idea would be to put her in a school in America for a few months, if we could figure out how to swing it. Hmm...

  • ooh, I've seen those dolls before! Calico...critters! right? I had one of those when I was little =D

  • @MewNyaMeow The squirrels come with the doll house and are part of the Sylvanian family. Not sure if that is related to Calico critters or just similar.

  • Wwrrwrwwwrrr!

  • @LeftOfToday Banana?

  • You are so sweet, cute and smart, Nina! Hope you and your family are always doing well, Geof!

  • gohrl~ >,< lol, so cute

  • shes sooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Nina is so cute <3

  • This was so much fun! Thanks for sharing! I love the little squirrel family and their house.

  • Nina is way cute! i like how she prentends to talk to "Little squirrel" she has a big imagination to make up very good and creative names for them :) u should make a another video on a squirrle family. haha

  • @Shinde16 ha ha The names really surprised me. Mary Divy?! Where did that come from?

  • woahhh ine of the first comments<3 I absolutely love nina and I am so shocked at how wonderful she is! I love her accent too! After seeing videos of nina i turned to my mom and told her she is only allowed to talk to my future children in Vietnamese she that they will be fluently bilingual like nina haha.

  • @missesdrunkie Can you speak Vietnamese as well? If you do have children, absolutely you should try to expose them to English and Vietnamese from an early age if possible.

  • "Ghorl!" XD

  • So adorable.

  • We love nina here in the philippines.. She's so adorable and smart. She's so blessed to have a family who raised her well. Ü

  • @dOoDLeS Thank you!

  • She so adorable!

I just want to pick her up and hug her tight >.<

  • Wrrwrrrrwrrrrwrrrwrrr. I speak squirrel.

  • @aiiiChristina I'm pretty sure you just said, banana.

  • That was absolutely precious! I love that she related the squirrels to reflect her own life.

  • sylvanian family :DD

  • @TheKyotcha2 Yes! I really like the style of their houses.

  • @geofg Me too, and i remember i thought it was really fun to play with :))
