Hello, thanks for the video. Question I have a supperssor on the rifle when I shoot the subsonic ammo with or without the supperssor the rifle does not discharge the casing or it does not receive the next round from the mag. If you can suggest any idea please let me know thanks. We have tried to change the gas piston regulator in different settings but nothing seems to work properly. I have used different ammo as well but nothing.
As long as the magazine locks and feeds, play is immaterial. A bit of looseness allows for reloading in over the beach conditions, not to mention allowing water to drain if you take a fall in a stream..........
Your DPMS lowers magazine catch release is an easy fix, Just adjust it by depressing the release button as far in as it will go using a pen or dowel etc.., when the catch protrudes from the other side grasp it and pull it further out until it is clear of its cradle, you should be able to rotate it. Rotate it clock wise a few times and it should screw further into the release button which will retract it further into its well.
yah ! i like to know how much u payed for that baby..sweet i want one now .also does the ajust on charging sys. let u set or pick in between for fine ajustment on ure recoill??or reloading? ur hd realy shows the dif. between brands too.
like the charging sys. nice guns awsome vid! can see dif. when u buy in pairs .gives u a baseline on ur product. i do the same lol but can learn more about ur gun that way... allso gives some ,q - control. lol
very nice rifle, thx alot for the review, btw, you ever see the harris bipod with the integrated rail adapter made by larue tactical, its very low profile and lightweight, would look into it if you haven't already, would go great with that setup., thx again for the review., cpl ent
It was a tossup between the LMT 308 and LWRC REPR. I spent a little more and got the REPR. I think I made a good decision. I don't think there is any significant real world difference in accuracy between DI vs. piston drive. What do you guys think?
Thanks for posting this review. EXCELLENT camera detail and operator feedback as to why specific REPR differences are preferred or not.
Depending on your computer's OS you may actually have Microsoft's free video editing software. If you're running Windows, go to Start -> Run and type moviemk, then hit OK. That's the free one I use and it work well enough for YouTube (in my opinion).
@Hurricane810kr You can always paint the pictograms red and white without marking the full-auto option to alleviate any confusion (if you really wanted to, not that it is an issue for me on my M6A3). Stunning rifle brother.
I would like to see how easy or awkward it is to hit the bolt release on the right side with your index finger. Seems like it would have been a little better if they had moved it up just a little closer to the mag release button.
@DCPartyKid At the start of this video, around :23 i'm depressing the bolt catch with my index finger. Due to the placement of the bolt catch it's easier for me to just use my kunckle as an index point and push in. If I try to use my finger tip I feel my grip is altered too much and I loose that positive control i'm harping about.
@Hurricane810kr Yea, I meant the upper bolt release paddle to send the bolt home. Is it any harder to hit that with your finger? Do you still use your knuckle area, or do you use your fingertip then?
@DCPartyKid Went back and tried both. When I use the tip of my trigger finger I really have to readjust and break my grip - enough so that I loose that positive control. If I use my knuckle area I still have to adjust my hand on the grip a little, but nowhere to the amount of using the tip of my trigger finger. I can see why LWRC didn't want to move it fwd much, as it would start to get way close to the mag catch. They may have been able to move it about .25" fwd, but not much more than that
@Hurricane810kr Ahhh...gotcha. Yea, I suspect they did want to keep the controls apart from each other. Congrats on the sweet rifle! Overall, it's very well thought out.
Too bad there aren't more companies willing to put out full ambi lowers. I trained myself to shoot right handed a long time ago, but still feel like it's a pretty desirable feature.
Excellent video! I am very close to picking up that very gun. Money in hand, just need to conclude my research on it. From what you showed, makes me happy. I really like the fact that you have practical range time with three different 308 AR variants. A full length comparison video on all three would be a great video to watch also. Even with some minor (corrected) inaccuracies, your review style is well done. Thanks
@xxSURExxSHOTxx I'll have to put the triple review in the works for sometime in the future, though I have already sold my last complete LR308, I have enough parts on hand that I could still do a review.
The errors show the true video in the flesh. I don't have software yet that enables me to cut/paste and chop out and insert new portions if I mess something up, hence the pop ups after the fact.
@Hurricane810kr Thanks again! Even with having no video editing software, your video came out better then many of the YouTube videos I have seen lol. Keep up the good work.

1) Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker

Hello Hurricane810kr,
How does your knight and dpms compare to the LWRC?

Could you do an overview on m6a3? If you have the time, I'm looking to get one soon.

does your REPR have full auto? i noticed the selector switch, but never saw any FA shooting in your vids...
crossan008 1 year ago
@crossan008 It's just a cosmetic mark - no FA. I hate having fake markings on my rifles, but no real choice here.
