how is this better or different from a regular bicycle? i made it in engineering class?

It lets you pedal with more direct force than a regular bicycle, and you don't have to worry about balance. However, they are heavier than regular bicycles, so if you have a single-speed, it will be slower to climb the hill.

Very nice. Stick two lights on it and you can drive it also in night-time. I was thinking on a battery pack and a generator, always connected to the wheels, wich continously charges them as you spin in daytime and gives you plenty of autonomy during night...
