Can someone tell me what the best method of recording is that gives you high quality? I have an HD tv, so I'm able to record in HD. I was thinking about getting one of those HD PVR's but they are very expensive where I live.

When I record I set it to PAL Progressive Widescreen with AVI and Best quality.
