I'm from Ireland and I have been watching the Pen's since the turn of the year and this performance is definately a shadow of their form towards the end of last season. Staal had a very poor game by anyones standards, however, it is pre-season and we'll save the big performances for the big games!!!

ok i gotta say im a die hard red wings fan but i respect the penguins i like crosby but not malkin i think hes dirty (my opinion) idk who is better at this point we need a better goalie but anyway i do have to say one thing its one thing to be proud of the penguins since the beggining but it another just to be a bandwagon fan and hop on right after the cup win congradulations pens hope for a rematch this year.

The first polite exchange between a wings fan and a Pens fan. I'm actually a wings fan and I just wanted to thank you for putting the highlights up :). A lot of wings fans aren't so bad, it's too bad the only ones that seem to post on youtube aren't the brightest bulbs in the box. Every team has assholes haha. I would also love to see Pens v Wings again, make it a best of 3 ;)

I just mean that I was a huge wings fan when they sucked real bad and now that things are going well I'm really enjoying it, and I'm sure you feel the same way about the pens, they had some rough times too. This has nothing to do with finishing last on purpose, I'm aware of the lottery lol. I think everyone needs to just chill and enjoy hockey haha.

@GhostWalker40 yeah but they were still pretty bad at that time, but that's how sports works, get high draft picks, build around them and BAM you can become a playoff contender in less than 3 years, red wings have been so successful they don't even need to do that but in a few years hopefully not for a while will have to go that plan

Yeah, but we both lost some key players. Unfortunately, neither team is looking that great this year, we'll see. Its pretty much guranteed that the Wings and Penguins are playoff teams and anything can happen in the playoffs.

@DetIzRed I'm a huge Wings fan and I'll have to admit if we don't get some of these players back that are injured the Wings won't be making the playoffs this year.They're tired man,the Wings have played the most hockey in the NHL since the 2005 season if I'm not mistaken.We have injuries to deal with and we lost a lot of depth in the off season.I think the Pens have a better chance this year.

If you notice at the beginning it says "FSDETROITHD" on both sides of the screen, then the NHL Network put their logos over it, so it was your "HD" channel, which wasn't HD at all.
