I wish so badly I was in Japan right now so I could see this amazing-looking movie on the big screen in style. Such beautiful animation and exciting-looking fight scenes...! (not to mention the epic theme song, "Soukyuu" by angela! I didn't think they could ever top "Shangri-La," but this might just do it!) So glad we're finally getting our long-awaiting closure for Fafner!!
@dropthepin Kazuki and company killed the Mir that was leading the invasion from the North Pole in the TV series, but Mitsuhiro already mentioned there was a third wave of Festum coming to earth anyway, and they were already in the atmosphere. This time, though, I hear the Festum aren't the problem--the Human Army wants to destroy the Festum that remain on earth, but they're trying to learn about "life" and created the new chara, Misao, and are trying to protect him or something.
First of all wtf is wrong with you saying this is a knock off of Gundam geez ppl like u r so typical saying all mecha are "Gundam" clones. Fafner is actually good and I'm grateful that their making a movie of what happened after the series can't w8 for it XD.
@dragonslayer8901 the truth is that no gundam have ever reached top 5 mecha anime, well gundam was the best mecha anime at 80s, but most new gundam series now are no good, they just gave us good mecha designs, while the anime are just shits.
