I still have my Lou obituary from the Boston Globe May 25, 1977. I sent a letter to Jackie and she answered it this way: "Thank you for your kind letter. Jackie." He died at 60, one year after open heart surgery in Feb 1976. I think he was a kind man who took no crap from anybody. Hated hipocracy. Can you imagine if he were alive today with Obama ? It wouldn't be pretty.

Great stuff ... my dad was a huge Lou Gordon fan and didn't miss a show if he could help it. Rest in peace Lou and thanks for the memories!
