Let's say insurance companies have no right to discriminate against any pre-existing condition until they have the same ratio as the general population amoung their insured. They would have to raise their prices to insure their share of these pre-existing conditions, but competition could then thrive under this new rule that would allow everyone to find health insurance. This shouldn't cost much to change and regulate and keeps the government out of our health care.

We need to agree on the basic reform that we all want as a country.  It seems to be about health insurance. Insurance companies have a right to profits, but many of us don't want the denials of coverage and rating up the premiums.
