i own one. but i have to say am displeased with the hd video. love the pictures and the standard vid. i really recommend this as a sidekick for your professional cameras. love the shoe too. for those strobist fationistas.
Thanks for that. I am realizing that different computers play it youtube videos back with different amounts of stutter. I'm inclined to agree with your assessment that it's better than the flip hd. And obviously, there's the stills :-)
It's significantly better than a Flip HD, but not as good as a dedicated video camera. If you want the ability to take good photos and decent video all the time with about a 3 second start up this is the way to go for now.

That seems to be a very decent result for a photo camera!
It's sad thouth that you can't use zoom while shooting a video.

its not choppy on my 3.0ghz dual core, it was choppy on my 1.6ghz dual core laptop in HQ mode. LOOKS AMAZING by the way, thanks for posting this.

it's "shuttery" - I can't think of any other way to describe it. I really want to love it, and avoid a flip hd or similar.
