Aviator sunglasses were designed for pilots, and for specific purposes. The shape of the glasses was to cover the entire eye socket, the lenses were non-polarized because polarized lenses limit a pilot's ability to see other aircraft, and the temples were flat, bayonet style to slip easily under helmets and headsets.

What about the aviator glasses with the wide side spoke? Will that work for men?
Don't you need to have a thin face for them too...? and look American?
