I watched this and your mug throwing video. I was wondering if that is glaze or slip that you are painting the mugs with.

Anyway, very nice. Thanks for posting those videos!

If you check the other video, he paints a dark slip over the entire mug just after he throws it and then squirts a lighter colored slip over it with a syringe. On the handle in this video, it looks like he's just matching the dark colored slip that he used on the mug base.
