Venice always has had a unique atmosphere all it's own! Haven't been up there since I was a kid (late 60s) but it seems the same funky place it always was. Life here in the OC is mighty dull compared to living in Venice.
I remember the Jim Morison painting on the Real world on MTV . I think it was the second one, about 1993. The roommate asked the other roommate who he was and she thought he was joking.
