that's a lie, I flipped over onto mine when I was 2 years old in 1998 and it a peice of it got lodged into the back of my head, and I had to go to the hospital so they could take it out. I still have a huge scar from it.
OMG i must of had 20 of those rip cord motorcycls, they they came out with something that resembled a stun gun that you hooked the bike up to to charge it and get it going really fast but as soon as the thick rubber wheel got traction it would only go like 10 ft.
Damn you all......you were so lucky to have such neat toys. My luck wasn't as good as yours, though......one Christmas you know what I got? My dad gave me an old 2x4 piece of wood. My following birthday he put a nail through it and mom got mad at him because she said he was spoiling me. MY PARENTS WERE SO FUCKIN' CHEAP, LOL.
Oh my god, I had the baby Strawberry Shortcake doll (the big one)! Got her for Christmas one year I think. She had the strawberry breath for about 20+ years, until our dog ripped her apart. And I think I remember the Super Turbo Train commercials, and my little brother had a Wuzzles book, but I don't think he had any of the plush toys.
@MysticalChicken Your dog's sense of smell toward the sweetness of Strawberries must of triggered the dolls' demise. 20+ years? Must of been like a scratch & sniff sticker type. Those hold scents for long times.
@IxAMxABU No, it was definitely the one where you squeezed her stomach and she blew strawberry breath at you. I had her for ages and I recognised her immediately in the commercial. (The one at 1:00) I never had any of the smaller dolls.
Does anyone remember a electric freight/train set from around 1981-83 that was very interactive. You could back it up and fill up a freighter with fake gravel, stop and pick up little plastic logs? Ring a bell to anyone?
These are so great! My nieces and I were into Strawberry Shortcake! Anyone remember collecting Scratch N Sniff Stickers!! Another 80's fave!!!! I had a whole album full of Scratch N Sniff Stickers when I was growing up!!! he Toys R Us commercials are priceless! My favorite has to be the Christmas Toys R Us commercial from 78! That is saved into my favorites! I think if I tried Twister today, I'd pry pull my back out or something!!! LOL! Thanks for uploading some childhood memories!

@MyVojkan Companies try to make the most for their product. Buying batteries for toys then was more expensive than now a days.
