  • I Cry. I sweat. I win. I have to do just about everything in that video in my gym but again my coaches have been in the olympics and they're chinese that stuff is not near as painful as it looks.

  • better than me! lol, I'm so fucking fat! I wish that I was there man, only in a week and I'll be like them. lmao.

  • These coaches did not grab these kids off the streets you guys are making it sound like they forced them to do this. Parents send their kids to these facilities, they are well aware that training is tough, a child's body is very flexible at this age. its not like they keep you there for the rest of your life, the kids who cry all day and are unwilling to train are sent home ,i'm sure America has their own ways of training but there's no reason to compare the two countries

  • is this coach crazy or what

  • Id be cussing him out lol

  • i felt pity for those kids, and the one who train them,i want to hang them see if they like it or not

if i ever see how they treat my boy like that i might have to kill them

  • I can't believe i watched this video!!! this is not cruelty!!!! this is crime!!!!!!

  • How do you know american gymnastics isn't just as rough? The system here is just the same coaches are rough because they have to be if you can survive a tough coach you can survive anything in gymnastics

  • the Americans haven't done this to be number 1 in the Olympics!

  • goddamn!! their trainers almost broke their bones...

  • if a trainer/ coach touched my kid like that i'd be kicking ass and busting heads

  • If the trainers and coach are monsters as the foreigners make them out to be, surely they would have not allowed interviews or filming and recording of the kind of training camps they run. These mental & physical training are quite common for instance in ballet and boot camps. I am a foreigner when it comes to other cultures outside my own and I don't go wagging my finger/criticizing and attempting to paint other nations or cultures in a negative light. I would expect the same from others.

  • poor children in china are tortured and they should be treated better than that THIS is the kind of treatment that turns them into the violent vicious people that the adults are!!! their children need to be cut alot more slack and givin alot more praise

  • What do you expect, it is communism at its best.

  • @Veilside1000HP Communism has nothing to do with gymnastics. What a biased and terrible assumption.

  • @jelliidoonut Yes it does, in other countries people don't push and kick the kids if they don't perform up to standard. Yes, they may yell at them but certainly they don't abuse them. Isn't the Olympic program in China being run by the Chinese government and the coaches that work there were hired by the government. In that case the communist government is responsible for who they hire and the abuses that go on in the program.

  • @jelliidoonut I'm not quite sure about that. The mentatity of a communist society does not recognize the acheivements of the individual except for when it contributes to the betterment of the whole society. Is it really a suprise that children would be pushed to their physical and mental limits for the glory of the country?

  • Its harsh to see this sometimes, but what are you going to say to those leading these institutions? To the Chinese your comments to them, they look at you & probably say "You got no pot to piss in"! in Mandarin or in Cantonese.......Yes the Chinese train their athletes/Martial Artists at a young age. And it may seem cruel to us Americans...But to them its a way of life. This is reality in Asian Culture & they pride themselves to excel at what they do & at times its at a cost!

  • @BROTHAMAN30 Hey,This is certainly not an asian culture we at indian suub continent never does this to our children though we are poor cant afford better things for them but still we are way better than these chinese dickheads.

  • china is going to be fucked for a very long time. baby girls are thrown away in trash cans. animals are brutally beaten and killed. children are exploited. i wouldnt be surprised if these kids are sexually abused and forced by there parents to accept it. just cuz they think there kids are going to be money making stars.

  • I remember that is saw this on TV, there parents forced them to join this athletic clubs, or training camps, it's kinda horrible.. Poor kids.

  • chinks are fuckin crazy...

  • what the fuck

  • cruilty

  • terrible depiction of China. And flexibility is a crucial component of gymnastic. It may seem inhumane to bend the children like that, but to them, it is probably routine. And the sweat and tears apply to ANY athletes training for major sport events. Even in the West, athletes train this hard. This is why winning the gold is that emotional and gratifying for the athletes. It's knowing that all their hard work was not in vain.

-Although, I'll admit the dude at 1:26 was being a bit too harsh-

  • @Nix123456789 What child athlete willingly trains so hard they break down in tears? I don't think these kids were all doing this by choice. I'm sure their parents made the choice for them, but that can be said about any nation. I think the biggest cruelty is enacted by the parents who try to live through their children.

  • You people don't understand. These is the one of the only ways to get out of poverty in China, and you earn a lot of respect for it.

  • fucking guy at 1:26

  • I think some of this has to do with the culture too. Instilling uneeded discipline.

  • So many ignorant individuals making statements such as "no pain no gain" these children don't have a choice, free will is the fundamental factor here, or rather the lack of it.

  • 1:23 with the kick. I would do something bad for the trainer. I promise I could do it to that lil' old chinese man.

  • That is sad.

  • pobres niños

  • erm...they train in their underwear?

  • this is madness. this is china

  • the world does not share america's softness. this is what it takes to win.

and you might not like what you saw in the top US gymnasts, if you ever saw THEIR training.

  • Why is China so cruel to these poor and defenseless children?!! That's a question I'd like ANSWERED!

  • no pain no gain

  • if you don't pay for the pain, how are u gonna receive your reward?

  • Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.

  • I wish my training was that intense without the abusive parents.

  • i liked the part where chinese people did gymnastics

  • i think this training is appropriate as they would see success later. though it may be gruelling

  • who ever made this video is a sad little negative white person... go fuck your self we know you are hungry for some BLACK cock

  • i get that they have to push the kids hard.

but hitting them to the point where it actually hurts! thats abusee.

  • Well there's a two sided argument here... those kids are there most likely against their will training for hours everyday, instead of socializing and playing like they should at their age...then again, for Olympics worthy athleticism, you gotta start early, people usually don't start training when they're 17...so....who knows...personally, i don't like the boot campiness of training children to do gymnastics and stuff..but who am i to say

  • they chose this path. They wanted to do it. They are the people that push themselves.

  • @totalglam27 Actually they aren't...

They didn't go there by free will...

  • This is torture...

  • They have to suffer to realise their dreams as champions

  • i personaly do not believe that this is real but just a comercial about a helping line or something like MAke a Whish....i do not believe that they will taped this shits....

    Yours Shacobox

  • I don't condone these actions, however; there are a few things to be said.

First, without a doubt, these kids have it hard, but also, this video shows the worst parts just to appeal to westerner's sense of "pity."

However, many of these kids, or those who came from the farming regions would have had to work hard from a very young age anyway. That work consists of carrying heavy loads, working with pesticides, and other potentially dangerous things.

  • @altrocksnp

    And to continue:

Also, since these kids are training to be future athletes, they are also guaranteed square meals. That is much, much more that what they could expect at home. Sometimes it would be so bad, that many parents send their kids to work in the horrible factories for the sole reason that they would get a bowl of rice every day, instead of every few days at home.

  • @altrocksnp

But again, let me just re-iterate that I don't believe that this type of training (or the horrible factories) are moral. Im just saying what is.

  • some of the things they r doing in here is it legal

  • It cracks me up to see all the pussy liberal responses. Meanwhile American children are video game playing, obese, coddled wimps. America needs to punt kick the liberals, put spanking back in school, and make it mandatory EVERY child must participate no less than one hour per day in a physically intensive activity.

  • @brandell69

im a centrist (aka the common sense party) and i approve of this post.

  • @brandell69 I love you.

  • When You haven`t choice, You are slave. That was comunist method, and I still see stupid and cruel people.

  • and then they get paid what they could never get paid as an average chinese citizen, while enjoying the statuses of being the best in the world. you wanna be the best, you shed blood, sweat and tears. you cant expect kids their age to want something like this until they get really into it. but once they do, its gg for everyone else who started later or have an easier training regiment.

  • hurt or killed? zero... why would they kill children for no reason, especially if theyre supposed to be gifted athletes. dont be stupid

  • these people literally have no compassion

  • and you thought chinese animal cruelty was bad...

  • What price a medal?

  • I seriously doubt the user who posted this video, "chink123456", gives a damn about how many Chinese people that has been "hurt or killed" in China's sports system... the description makes out like they care, but then, why would they use racial slurs in the first place?

  • Since the change in the code of points, the unlimited Difficulty values mean that there is no upper ceiling on the complexity of skills included in routines. China wants glory on the world stage and Gymnasts of all nations are constantly not only in a chase of perfection, but chasing a more difficult perfection than evey other gymnast meaning they are pushed more and more, younger and younger for ahead start on competition. FIG needs to intervene, possibly changing the rules on age or DV's.

  • no pain , no gain, but i feel bad watching this video , very harsh and a lot of pressure on the kids to succede :(

  • I dont think any of us are considering culture differences. While I suppose this is cruel, it may be very normal there. Think of the ancient spartans and the damage they would do to children like this and even younger! It's their culture, we may not like it, but lets not impose people.

  • @twigiestdrip

Never mind cultural difference, this violates basic human rights. GB has produced some fantastic gymnasts, many of which train in our gym and this behaviour is not necessary to produce good results. Chinese gymnasts are frequently at the lowest age possible when they compete internationally. They do all this intense training at such a young age. What really needs to happen is that FIG change the rules further to alter the age at which gymnasts are seniors.

  • @chestnutbowness By fantastic gymnasts I hope you don't mean Beth "I'm a big girl" Tweddle. She looks more pregnant than a gymnast.

And the only reason the US are up there in the gymnast stakes is because they too use such techniques... notice the Chinese coach they have...and they also import people from China and Russia who have trained up under such cruel methods, before offering them a better pay packet/life and US citizenship in return for competing for America.

  • looks like hard work to me. The coaches pushing them around is a bit much though..

  • wtf....

  • This is abuse!

but Chinese are very rough on each other

and to them as a greater good...not just for the abuse

but to build discipline at such an early age, it takes extreme measures

but completely dont agree with it,...

  • i think they are purposly only showing the sad/bad parts.

im sure these kids have fun

but you will never get good if you dont go through bad / hard times.

  • @ashleylovesdelfino Agree Agreee! what do you expect from videos of japanese users

  • @ashleylovesdelfino still kinda fucked up.

  • @ashleylovesdelfino Well its well proven its not healty to trein children this hard in that age.^

Also the trainers are some of the most cruel in the world. thse traininbg teqniques would be good on a 17-30 year old person. but not on a 7 year old child.

  • @ashleylovesdelfino do you actually beilive that what they do is good? since when taking a child from age 0 and making him do what you want is good, it's good for their shit country and citizens who ignore this, but it's unhealthy and not good for the kids, they have no mind, they do what they are told to do, they don't have their own thoughts are mind, like robots that can't express theirselves in real life

  • @ashleylovesdelfino Nothing can defend some of these scenes. Kicking and shoving the kids is not "bad/hard times."

  • @Kiddowesth It may not be that way to Westerners, but many Chinese have already experienced abuse at home. I agree, sometimes the kicking/shoving is too abusive, but it enforces discipline and perseverance and the kids learn really well. Thats why the Chinese gymnastics team is one of the best in the world.

  • @jelliidoonut Discipline is not to be enforced physically on children. If one feels the need to be physical to teach, coach or raise children, they should not be around them. The will and passion should come from within, not from fear.

  • @Kiddowesth I agree, but thats the difference between the Chinese and western philosophy.

  • @ashleylovesdelfino

    i agree with you

you guys show only the bad parts but there are also good parts

now at china it's not like this they're changed

i train for 2 years in china and the coaches we're like in belgium

but sometimes they were not mad but disappointedit 'cause the gymnast didn't listen or do other things but they didn't hit the gymnast

  • @ashleylovesdelfino wow, really? yes maybe there are some good parts. but these bad parts are really heavy! yes being sat on by a grown man is fine!. sure (sarcasm) There is nothing fun about being forced to do gymnastics in such a way.

  • Haunting and well produced, definitely persuasive. Jeez, I gotta go shake this off.

  • chinese are cruel

  • NO PAIN NO GAIN

  • And this is why they are better than the US at everything

  • Haha, this is nothing. walk into any kids wrestling club and the kids themselves will be pushing themselves harder than the coaches are pushing the kids in this vid. Hard work and tears are some of many things that build character. Am i saying that every clip in this video is okay? no. We also have to take into account that this is pretty much a highlight reel of intense situations during their training.

perspective and relativity are everything here.

  • Its not child cruelty, western people have grown in a such lazy and weak way that they cant even recognize a surviving training... Yes dear, life is hard and unless you get as hard as it is you wont achieve good results. Watch China dominating the world soft white skins.

  • @lastpoina you obviously have no idea wat the fuck you are talking about i agree amercians are quite lazy and need some training but this is child cruelty. there is no reason to work a child this hard. this is a prime example of Communist china these childrens childhoods are taken away fromn them they are workin the the bone so in the future they can compete. but what happens to those athletes who arent good enough?

  • Kid yourself not.., this kind of treatment is rife within western society too and not just in gymnastics

  • think about this,,, if they dont make it to the olympics, use them as soldiers

  • Blood, sweat, and tears are what make you jacked.

  • This is blood and tear gold medal!

  • that is sooo sad i mean im a gymnast but that i dono what to call it that is sick y does he sit on that kid

  • that is sooo sad i mean im a gymnast but that i dono what to call it that is sick y does he sit on that kid

  • that is sooo sad i mean im a gymnast but that i dono what to call it that is sick

  • can i just say, this doesnt surprise me, chinese skin animals alive, cook fish alive, chop up snakes, boil cats and dogs alive, if they can do that to their furry friends then theyll certainly do it to the kids and other people. i would love to see the whole of china sink into the sea, theyre a foul race!

  • @cokerainbows

Yeah you would like a whole country to die, i think you are actually the foul one. Dumb shit

  • @xgprenji yeah i would, would be great

  • WHAT A HEARTLESS COACH HE IS!!! THAT GUY SERIOUSLY NEED TO GO TO HELL FOR TORTURING THE POOR CHILDREN!!! WHO'S WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! >8O

  • though for sure but this is a culture we don't understand , martial arts training is just as harsh if not worse.. it's just how they do it .. That Olympic call makes it all worth it

  • @mac2k2020 chinese culture is warped, they love being cruel, i hate the chinese

  • Torture and child abuse. One thing to train hard. Another for a grown man to kick a 5 baby in the head.

  • is there any doubt these kids are going to be dominating the hell out of the summer games in 2016?

  • Fuckin' alpha

  • :(

    very sad...

  • HE SAT ON THE KID LIKE A PONY!!!

  • somewhat cruel but helpful

  • Call it child cruelty but their methods work...These kids are also probably genetically gifted.

Asians taking over the globe...in the best schools, setting world records in competitions, etc. Gotta work hard and get punished hard to get the best results.

  • DID THAT GROWN MAN JUST KICK YOUNG BOYS HEAD!!!!

  • To tell you the truth, i wish i was in this when i was young because it will give me confidence in the real world. I wouldn't turn out to be scared of the reality and run away from fear.

  • Spartans....the greatest warriors the world has ever seen.

  • almost okay, just they need to let kids train themselves, not get in the way.

  • Errr... It's sort of okay. It creates a lifless person though. The outcome of this training is a order followin machine though. It is good for the nation. The Romans were trained more brutally. It is very smart and effective, the damge to the soul however would be drained. As a scientific thinker I find this good. I hate myself for not making my work good. Their future is what matters though. Think when this grows up he will have no soul like a robot and own ate what he was *programmed* to do.

  • those kids are going to be beast when they grow up for real

  • thats too sad

  • Reminds me of the intro training scene showing the kids being raised in the movie 300.

  • welcome to teh woprld of gymnastics, not just in china but every where.

If you wanna succeed u need to be pushed to your limits.

ever wwonder why your white kids are junkies and obese fucks..

i think it has something to do with the "do what makes you happy" mentality

  • torture :( i love gymnastics but only american gymnastics because we actually train

  • sad music, sad highlights..obviously it's gonna seem like it's torture..how bout a 2nd video with the glory that comes from hard work and winning..

like many others pointed out, the sad part is maybe they're forced into it, not cause they're in pain..try pushing yourself to the brink of exhaustion and see what kind of face YOU'd make..crying doesn't prove anything, its just a natural occurrence when you're mentally exhausted ..its called giving it your ALL for an ultimate goal..

  • child cruelty, the pain and sadness I saw in these kids faces are not normal

  • 0:58 put some effort into it will ya :p

  • @KidBers Thats is like one of the most motivating scenes I have ever seen with regards to athletic training. Pure determination.

  • well we have to be flexiable some way if we stay in the same postion for a year than we wont become anymore flexiable. you have to push urself. Some kids do it for a passion but like @ulula they might be forced. and i agree with her

  • it's not about being chinese, it's about gymnastics. It's hard, and painful. Do you think it is any different across europe or america?? it was perfectly normal for me to have my coach seating on me while i was in a split position at the age of 9, and i'm from italy. That's just the way you train flexibility. My true concern is that while in other countries kids do it because of passion, maybe chinese gymnasts are forced to do it, and THAT is what makes it a torture.

  • @ulula that isnt how you train flexibility, its incredibly negligent. Its about a primitive, fucked up society that allows this ,not just china, russia, bulgaria and a few other retarded societies.

  • @billysue2 do you know any non-painful way to train flexibility? i would really like to learn it...

  • @ulula there isnt any pain involved in stretching, mild discomfort is what you should feel, pain means something is about to tear.Look for a lad called brad appleton on the net,he has a whole book for free on the science and practice of stretching.

  • @billysue2 ok, i will, thanx

  • not cruelty at all just discipline and training it pays off in the end and people wonder why they are so much better not just the chinese in general, to win you will have to do things others will not

  • One of the best ways to get good is to push yourself as much as possible without collasping, which is what children somewhere around 5 don't usually want to do. If you push them towards something, they'll get used to it, and doing it will be like doing nothing when you're several years older.

  • Hurraaaay Statism!!

  • anything less than above perfect is not acceptable =(

  • It's wrong to allow the Chinese to compete in the olympics. If we condone the Chinese in the Olympics, then we condone the torture they put their children through.

  • lets kill all china fuckers and destroy their culture

  • Haha little rag dolls

  • does he make champions? yes? are they physically hurt in the long run? no? well then...

  • lol at 1:24

  • i've seen a show about some famous gymnastics schools on the states and it's the same.. so stop with the comments about the communists..

  • I don't see what's wrong. You have to go through pain to master something. So if a child cries because he does not want to go through the "mental torture" of doing algebra, he should not learn it?

  • @fleeordie umm not if that "child" is learning "algebra" when he/she is like 6 years old... This the same type of example.. they're learning a 8/9th grade gymnastics skill when they're like 8 years old or younger..

  • @JizzXpert If they don't learn the skills now and wait for their tendons to set, it will be harder later on.

  • @JizzXpert ur an idiot, comparing learning algebra to physical training is different, when u are 8 years old ur bhody is not prepared for that kind of physical stress

  • @tupacIzAlive33 i meant that for the other guy

  • Chinese are so self-centered. They want to be the very best at everything, and the kids who are tortured here will eventually take it out on THEIR kids, so its a never ending cycle.

  • @KovuchuReborn it's called Communism. Show people that if you're a communist you win everything.

  • I feel so bad for those kids.

  • Now i get why the chinise girls and boys who are in the OL cey when they dont win. They are fucked up when the come home!

  • thats horrible. . .
