hi i try and put a watermark in the corner but it wont let me put pictures out that far and it leaves the screen how can i fix this?

make a new layer, put your image for your water mark in the top layer and the video below.

this way is before the other so you will see it.

To place it where you want, you just need to open the Event pan/crop (on your image)

- make it widescreen ratio(16:9) preset

- and make the window the size you want, and give it the place you want.

watch the preview window so you see what your actually doing.

srry for the late reply, you have to set your preview on draft, full, it wont look the true quality of your video, but it will run smootly (atleast for me)

yeah . it tried doing it as an mp4 file and it wasn't even widescreen so yeah. i used wmv like it says and what i usually use and it worked. thanks 4 the tutorial! ^^

Ok so this is all well and good but!

Lets just say i wanted a wide screen video, and i do it the way you have described in this tutorial.

Then wont that chop off the top and bottom of my video ?

What if i want the full screen to be in WS without having to chop off the top and bottom?

Hiya, thats a very good question, and yes it can, it's really easy exually:

The only thing you have to do is ignore step 4, and instead richt click on your video and go to properties. go to the media tab and change the pixel aspect ratio to 1,3333 (HDV 1080)

Your video aspect is now changed in widescreen, this can look very ugly sometimes, depending or your video.
