I do not agree with this sorry. First your elbows are not in (ive always been told that to get the most of the tri's is to have elbows parallel to each other. 2nd of all Ive always done skull crushers going down to your forhead not pass your head. (so not 115 but infact 90'') and the reason why I think this is wrong because going 115 or past your head you are using sholders to help reinforce the exercise so I will stick to my 90'' elbows in bar to the forhead, I just think this is worse than 90'

@Archetype3 I have used both. Straight bar more or less doesn't allow you to flair your elbows out quite as much (or cheat) because it restricts the amount of wrist movement. I would chose whatever bar allows you to "feel" it more in the triceps. Great question though!

2-3 inch bar close grip bottom position bench 5x5.your overhead presse and regular bench hit the triceps hard already,you ARE doing these right?

This i helpful. i sued to raise the bar at a 90 degree angle. 115 is better, i think. I have to try it out.

Brian i have a question, what is better if you are looking to just get size/volume with this variation, use straight bar or ez bar?
