I read one of only a few interviews George Strait has ever done. The recent one was a few years back and he admits that his personal tastes are western swing and old country. His fans (or record company) seem to have more control over his material than he does. George did say that someday he'd like to put together a tour with a western swing band and that he spends a lot of time playing golf.
@evilr0b I apologize..I was thinking of a completely different song from the movie...Frey and Souther wrote "Last In Love"...my bad..I admit when I'm wrong
