Hercrabbiness keeps commenting she likes the undead scenery.

After playing years of 16 color EGA/VGA Sierra games I was shocked to see the graphics of King's Quest V and Space Quest Space Quest IV back in the day. 256 colors VGA doesn't seem like much compared to today, but the graphics still look great even these days.

I guess you could say they're 256 color paintings.

Hercrabbiness, you should see a movie called The Seventh Seal, if you already haven't. The whole movie is about Death and how a crusader tries to avoid his fate with him. Lot of deep themes in that one. I highly recommend it, considering it is a completely different take on death. You can find it on netflix!

Something just crossed my mind... the wizard's tome calls for "Water of the River Styx" as a spell ingredient. And yet it would seem that no living being has travelled to the Land of the Dead, where the River Styx is, and come back alive. So how could River Styx water be a known spell ingredient? Unless it was brought by some undead minion, it sounds impossible to acquire.

My guess is that when you go to create a spell, you decide what you want the spell to accomplish, and some kind of magic physics will let you come up with the ingredients you need to achieve the desired effect, whether the ingredients seem obtainable or not.

To make death cry I'd just let him play king's quest 7 for a few minutes. Ugh, what a travesty. How could they go from such a high in kq6 to such a low in the next game?

Why couldn't the Gate be called something ominous like Vladibags.

It would be funny if Alex had a dark cloak, then whipped out the scythe and attempted to pass Gate as the Grim Reaper XD I mean, Alex is such an emo boy anyway, and Dracula's minions are freaking idiots in KQ2.

And to make Death cry...doesn't anyone just try a freaking onion?
