I think video quality is ok. Remember guys this is a smartphone, not a dedicated full HD camcorder. I agree The N8 720p looks great, but not the 720p from the iFone(just too noisy for my taste).
Who knows, LG cuold release camera updates later on with better framerates, audio/video bitrates, manual settings etc. It's a start from LG bringing full HD to smartphones, and soon others will follow and hopefully quality will be better.
the n8 is better, sure, with its Carl Zeiss optics, xenon flash, 12 mp, but i like tegra2's fast graphics and cpu and android apps. the video quality is definitely more than sufficient for my impromptu needs. if you're shooting professional video for some event, you probably wouldn't be using a phone anyway. lol
Stop whining and go buy a SGSII for a 100 € more people.
It's a phone not a friggen camera. And fuck how low it costs for it's performance!

What the hell is wrong with the frame rate?? It's stuttering like hell. This is supposed to be 24 fps... That's NOT.

Comon put it at 1080p and you wouldnt even need better quality for Youtube uploads!

Exactly. I dont think ANY current or upcoming smart phone camera will compare to the N8, unless its a new Nokia using the same or better lense.

Quality looks terrible,
They need to upgrade the lenses imo.
it looks like compressed and stretched 720p
Allthough youtube compresses the quality, it can't be that bad, since the nokia n8 videos look WAY better.
