@probablystalkingyou yeah im a bruins fan and i texted my friend and was like that was a freakin joke, but so wasnt thorntons penalty and the jets penalty shot. the refs this year, at least for the bruins games, have been not just bad but horrible for 15 of the 40 or so games. theyve been pretty bad another 15 ok 5 and good 5 as an estimate. but theres so many bad calls now then make up calls on the bad calls that the entire game is 1 big PP vs PK then awaiting the next call

For those saying it was a bad call to get the penalty shot you are correct BUT Winnipeg was given a penalty shot on an almost identical play earlier in the game so I personally feel the refs had to make the call due to that.
