I did lots of research into this for my a-level project at school.

although i am only an a-level student so obviously my research may not have been conclusive as others i found that it benefitted the UK economy more than it had a negative impact. Some intresting benefits were things such as: older people dying hence not collecting pensions,But mainly the tax revenue is so vast is keeps the NHS afloat.
