Nothing special just how he bend the string or maybe he used his pick to scratch the string

That deep shrill noise is a pinch harmonic. To do it you basically hold the pick so that only a very small bit of it is showing. Then when you strike you sort of dig upwards, so that the edge of your thumb lightly hits the string (similar to how you lightly touch a string for a natural harmonic). The difficult part is that it only works on specific parts of the string, depending on what string it is and the note you're fretting. I think Justin Sandercoe has a good lesson for it on his channel.

The sound you actually get when doing a pinch harmonic is hugely dependent on your pickup and tone. ie: if you're playing clean the sound dies quickly and just sounds high and lifeless. With more gain the sound sustains and really punches through. More effect on a humbucker than a single coil too. It's pretty hard to do. Just keep experimenting with your tone - it sounds like you've got the technique down.
