Dam, I still get goosebumps listening to this, it's just too epic! You should go to SEGA and ask for this to be used as the boss music for Sonic 4 episode 2 so we don't have to put up with the dodgy music they put on episode 1 lol. :)

I've never had any teachers or anything like that, I've learned everything by playing for myself. Most of the stuff I play, I've learned to play by ear.

Oh, and my guitar is a BC Rich guitar, Warlock design, Maggot Man layout (from the Body Arts '04 collection)

And yes, playing by ear isn't easy. I've played a little piano/keyboard before I tried guitars, so I had a little head-start.

And don't worry. Patience, practice and time are the 3 major factors in becomming a good musician :)

well if u do the finnal boss its just a simple chorus and mainly eigth notes and quarter notes and it happened to me to my audio recorder sounded like crap but i kept trying and i made the song and the team

I must say though that I'm not up to playing Through the Fire and the Flames, because most of the music made by Dragonforce have been edited and mixed in studios, rather than played live.

Besides, this was the way I learned to play the song first, thus this recording. I've played it alot after recording this video and I've found several ways of playing the tune, but this is still the easiest in my oppinion. As I gain experience I might find this way of playing "bad" or "sloppy", but for now I enjoy playing it like that, so that's what I'll continue to do...
