hello , and thanks for the review. i got it for present , for christmas and i would like to ask you something.. it came to me with the orange hand indicates level 1 for battery load. I tried 2 times charging it under light with low watts as the manual indicates, and the level goes to level 2 , but lasts there for 1-2 days ,. and with no use , goes again to level1 . is that normal? how many hours should i left it under low wattage light? Please explain me. Thanks again man!!
@COSDR That sounds normal to me. It uses energy every day to run so the power level will drop. Level 1 doesn't mean it's low on power, just that it's not 100% full. My manual says full charging time 20cm (8 in.) from a 30W light is 18 hours. Did you charge it that long? I usually lay mine under a window to charge it. Then the time for a full charge is from 5 hours (cloudy day) to 2.5 hours (sunny summer day).
@nikudes If it's really low on power the orange hand will point to NG and the second hand will move in 2-second intervals. Before it stops completely from lack of power both the orange hand and second hand will move to zero.
@nikudes thanks for your reply. my greek manual is bad written, as everything in greece lol, i didnt charge it for 18hours, now i know. well , we have many summer days here, so in summer will be fine lol,. thanks again
@sunstopper The manual says that orange rectangle is called the "Over zone mark." If the diving depth exceeds 50m (125 ft.), or if the depth meter isn't functioning properly for some reason, the orange hand will point at the over zone mark.
@sunstopper I think what the manual is saying is that, if you go deeper than 50m, the orange hand will point at the Over-zone mark. Or if there's something wrong with the the watch it will do the same. So if the watch is pointing at the Over-zone mark in less than 50m of water, send it to a service center. Otherwise it should work fine again once it's in less than 50m of water.
I've had my Eco-Dive for about three years. It's been to 120 ft diving on the Thunderbolt off Marithon. Its also been down near 75'-90' off Volusia and Brevard counties about 100 times. Great watch although like you said, the second hand doesn't count off the seconds, bummer. I've had one guy say it must be broken.
Excellent review. I own the same model, with gold bezel, & have taken it on ~4 dive trips so far. Depth indicator is quite accurate, closely matching the BCD dive computer (different one each trip).
Yeah, that stopwatch is peculiar. I hardly ever use it, because I rarely time anything when I've got it on. But, it's good to know it is there, just in case.
Incidentally, you didn't mention it, but the movement is hackable. When you pull out the stem all the way, the seconds stop. Nice. :-)
hey buddy I so thank you for your video, you know why?? cause I just got that watch from a pown shop and I did not know how to use it.....so thatn you again from Guadalajara Jalsco Mexico.

Excellent review!! I have the titanium bracelet model. How do you calibrate the minute chronograph subdial? I am having difficulty getting mine to re-zero at the top of the subdial. You can kind of see that in my video. THANKS!!!
@MuvoTX Thanks! Try unscrewing the crown, pulling it out two stops, then pressing both buttons simultaneously. That should reset the watch. Then you can use the buttons individually to adjust the hands. But do you know that the minute chrono hand won't normally be on zero? If you hold the lower button in for about 3 seconds the watch will switch to stopwatch mode and hand will zero. Otherwise it's always in "dive ready" mode (the hand in the orange "DV" zone.

What is it mean when the orange hand is on the red rectangle with the little white ball to the left of the level 2 charge?

@nikudes Does that mean it's not reliable to dive with?

" the second hand doesn't count off the seconds, bummer." I would just let the chrono run...

I have had this exact model for 3 years. Tough watch! I've owned Tags and Omega's even a few Seikos. And this one is my favorite by far.

@ranrio70 I like it too! It's a good tough watch with great style and function, a definite classic.
