The vehicle in which the camera was mounted was following too close to the bus in front of it and was going way to fast, as is witnessed in the video, before the truck lost control traffic was coming to a stop as did the bus but the "camera vehicle" didnt hit the brakes untill they saw the out of control truck coming.
My husband is a truck driver and I rode with him a couple times, I have more respect for truck drivers now then I do regular drivers on the road. I will cut off a dumbass little car with my van just because I turned my blinker on, and that idiot can't let me over because they are one car behind for getting to where they're going, but with truck drivers, you put your blinker on, and I will let you over. I wish people would get a clue about the "bigger" vehicles on the road and show some respect.
Thank You for your comment, Ive been driving severe duty trucks for 22 years now and people just dont see the crazed out of control people who drive their cars with utter disrespect for the truck drivers, pedestrians and other motorists around them. Ive seen so many situations that actually had me white knuckled and praying for GODs intervention more than I care for, and no one seems to care about what truckers have to deal with.
@binarycode10110 Would you - as a trucker - like to say - EXACTLY .. what caused his rig .. to tilt TO THE RIGHT (at the rear end) at the seven second mark .. could it have been the RIGHT HAND SIDE DUALS rapidly deflating? or some mechanical thing - that - as we are on the LEFT - will never be able to see? I (just a measly 4wheeler) SAW THE TRUCK LURCH - at seven seconds.. I suggest - as a so-called EXPERT truckie - that YOU go "back" & check that info - yourself
What happened to that rig - at 7secs .. when it tilted hard to the right before skewing sideways (and thus ... even a New Zealander can see - it wasn't a cutoff but an accident ... as it crashed too)
To peole that think trucks are just another job, this is a life style and over the road trucks can break a man,its not a fucking honda its like driving a 2 story house with a bunch of little assholes fying around on thier way to dinner with thier familys while we are thinking of ours 100"s if not thousands of miles away, paperwork, cost VS comfort, asshole dispatchers, weather, hrs and days and weeks of being stuck with only our minds, but we fucking love it,at least the ones that shrug the stereotype.
I wish the respect levels would go up for the truck drivers.
Most people don't know what we deal with every stinkin day. I think they never think about....Everything they eat, wear, read or whatever......arrives to them, by a truck driver. Truckers make the world go around and around.
No. Truck drivers are assholes, always have been. I have to deal with prick truck drivers daily, they're always rude, obnoxious and pushy. I can't imagine they'd be any better on the roads.
@WolfmanProphecy I just love your comment [quote] I have to deal with prick truck drivers daily, they're always rude, obnoxious and pushy. [unquote] ... hehehe - so .. do U piss everyone off the same - or do you just get up the noses of truckies & wonder why they don't like you?
as a truck driver you are STUPID. you dont even know what happend to him. maybe he had a hart attack how can you say something if you dont know what happend to him....
ouch, driving a truck isnt easy he could have had a serious problem with the truck or just tired. thats why theres regulations on how long you can drive
@86IrocZ28310CI the regulations do nothing towards anything. I can drive dead tired and be in compliance with all log book regulations. it's all up to the drive to know when to drive and not to drive, laws have never stopped anything

@SlickD217 I'm not a truck driver, but amen to that. Truck drivers are their own breed. They're not called Kings of the Road for nothing.

wow!!! Not enough footage to really determine if there were other contributing factors. Please remember not all truck drivers are jackasses.
