  • goddamn buy mic i cant hear shit

  • Does the mouse on the computer move when hovering the pen over the tablet?.

I mean isnt it hard to know where you're drawing when there isnt a screen on the tablet?

  • I just got my tablet (Bamboo Fun Pen and Touch) and I don't know how to install the photoshop elements I bought with it :/ Any suggestions?

  • I have one too.

  • hey, how do you know where to draw?? does the cursor move as you move the pen??. :D

  • Even with the volume turned all the way up I cant hear a word you're saying.

  • How does it know where the cursor is? Does it only activate when you're touching the pad or is there a wireless connection of a kind which determines it on the screen?

This also makes me question how would you determine where to actually place the pen down.

  • I have that tablet xD its amazing for drawling and editing pictures.

  • How to disable the always present left click on bamboo pen ?

I want to use it as mouse alternative and touching the surface, dragging the pen it selects all things passing under it ....

    Thanks in advance

  • my sister just ordered mine

im gonna have to wait 2 or 3 whole long boring days~~~

i wanna use it now !

    TT-TT

  • @aja908 I feel youre pain, wheres the matter teleporters for online packages when you need them >.>

  • Anyway, it's being frustrating, I've tried to make it work in Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, Painter X, Painter 12 (this one doesn't even recognizes the zoom movement) switching between 2 different PCs, one WinXP 32-bit and one Win 7 64 bit. I've noticed you don't demonstrate the rotate in your vid, EckyPro, but maybe this is a function that doesn't work in photoshop because the way it rotates the canvas, but Painter manages the canvas differently, I don't know why it would not work in it?

  • @263leandro I have a feeling that CS4+ has what you are asking. I have CS4 in the demo.

  • Comment removed

  • I've been trying to find an answer to a question I have, without success: does CS4 recognizes the "rotate" input (the one that works amazingly well in Painter Essentials 4 and in the tuto for the tablet and as far as I've seen, nowhere else), yes, that one where you use your thumb and index finger like a compass (let's be clear here, i'm not talking about the north -south tool, but about that thing that allows you to draw a perfect circle - i'm brazilian, I don't know if that's the correct name.

  • nice accent

  • @yitsmeofcourse4 cheers, mate.

  • I'm getting a tablet in about 5 days, depending on how long it takes to deliver here :D

  • @SupaaSweetApril guess you got it by now, how is it?

  • @EckyPro Really good,, it comes with a kool program called art rage,, it works really well with it :)

  • @EckyPro i'm getting a tablet too, a Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch S :D

  • @SupaaSweetApril am getting mine in three.. but judgeing from the time you posted that comment (5 months ago) i guess you already got yours! lol! well, i draw anime and stuff so is it easier to use than paint?

  • @mrssakurauchiha101 I personally think paint is easier but I'm dumb so yeah :D Paint is easier to pick up the jist of what does what but photoshop is more confusing, but it does a lot more and I love it (:

  • @SupaaSweetApril thnx!

  • is there a difference between the white and black version of the tablet apart from the colour?

  • @ghesebull yes, read the specs. Some finer details are different.

  • I have a question , do the nibs wear out fast on your tablet cause I heard that textured feel made the nibs stumpy really fast

  • @robokrepe for me I am still on Nib #1 but to be honest I dont use it that much. If you use it as a primary stable of your day to day work then you might see them ware down but its not like a pencil, will last many months.

  • YAY! I just got it, PHOTOSHOP ROCKS WITH IT! I can finally draw my comics and ideas in the computer instead of on paper! paper/pencil is REALLY accurate, but one problem with them is- NO UNDO BUTTON XD great review. TABLET FTW!

  • @artisttutorials not sure if you've noticed it yet, the eraser side works as the eraser in photoshop. A nice touch I thought :)

  • gettung mine at the end if this month! cant wait !!!

  • @Jordan6141 sweet! o/*\o

  • What's the surface like? Like, if I draw on it a lot, will there be big fat lines and pen dents all over it?

  • @resrevr not really. the surface is a plastic with a slight texture on it. They try and make it paper-like so the motion and friction is more natural. Over time with heavy use the plastic might go shiny and smooth but I havent got this yet, im just assuming this may happen. Not something to worry about :)

  • @EckyPro Sweet, thanks heaps :)

  • @resrevr It will eventually get a bit scratched, but I don't find that it causes any noticeable issues. I know that some people use a sheet of plastic or large screen protector, but of course that chances the tactile feedback.

I've been using my intuos for years without any significant damage.

  • Buy a microphone and learn how to use it. 121k views? Wtf?

  • @gary7vn trust me, I have a good one now. Recorded on my iPhone just to see how it was, decided to give a demo of my tablet. I have no idea why I have 120K views either! WTF indeed.

  • can you see your drawings when drawing in the tablet?

  • @merina1122 if you mean "can you see it on the tablet and screen", thats a no. Wacom Cintiq tablets are a screen as well as a tablet. If you are thinking that you need to see what you are drawing, thats not the case. You use it the same way you do a normal computer mouse. Get used to it in 1 minute :)

  • my pen isnt workink! why?

  • @Ingi268 contact Wacom :)

  • I have a quick question! :)

Soo say I draw a line, and I want to draw a separate line next to it, so I pick up my pen from the tablet. As I move the pen over the tablet, not touching, does the mouse follow on the screen so I can see where the next line will be drawn? Or how does that work? because it'd be very hard to draw if you have to guess where to put the pen down on the pad... sorry if this is hard to understand, I'm not sure how to explain it

  • @fuzzylittlebunny you can hover over the tablet which will show a cursor. Making contact with the tablet, using the pen nib, will do a mouse down click.

  • I have a quick question can you use the multi touch pinch to zoom and the hand tool in a photoshop document along side using the pen. Sorry if thats a dumb question but I cant seem to find the answer anywhere thanks :)

  • @rocketmunkey1 you use them separately, impossible to do at the same time. To be honest, I dont use the multitouch functions on mine.

  • i have a question, now you said this is the small size pad, and in the demo it seems like you're doing fine with it. is it neccesary to buy a medium or large pad?

  • @hownychea Down to personal preference and the work at hand. A larger active area will give you a finer resolution of detail when drawing. But for my basic Ps work with website layouts and photo manipulation is fine. The settings allow you to make it work with your screen resolution however you want.

  • I have a problem with photoshop and my wacom, photoshop doesn't detect the pressure, in the brush adjustments I have set that the size variation at the pressure of the pen, but when I draw with it photoshop uses the size of the brush, it doesn't change if I apply more or less pressure, I don't know why, in other computer it works great, and in this computer when I use the Corel Essentials it detects the pen pressure, can anyone help me with this? sry if my english is bad xD

  • does it have to be connected to the computer or can u do it portable?

  • @narutochick365 this model is USB, so it has to be connected. I believe there are wireless Wacom tablets but not in this family of products, and they would be more expensive.

  • how does this connect to the computer

  • @petenicezz USB

  • @Jonalexher sound sux.. but the product is awesellent!!

  • This product kicks the shit out of my mouse. FTW!!

  • @Jonalexher probably because its pretty shaky and the audio sucks :p never thought it would get 100K views!

  • @EckyPro Which is stupid.all they have to do is turn up the audio and hey I like shakey better than the original stand still video lol Great video man I'm thinking about getting this one for sure. The ones at school suck arse.

  • what size is it small or medium plz awnser :)

  • @chazzman12345mufc the one in the demo is a small (CTH-460).

  • so like if you press harder it makes the brush thicker?

  • @joewizard100 lmao, that a blonde move right there

  • @Tu51ndBl4d3 :D

  • if you want to draw,use Autodesk:Sketchbook

if you want to paint use Corel Painter

if you want to edit use Photoshop.

  • that looks so gay u dont know where ur drawing u just have 2 eye it

  • @hockeydude1239 no, not really. Do you look at your mouse all the time you want to move the cursor on the screen? You dont. Its the same principal. Your eyes just look at a different object (the screen) to see the result of the motions/actions you make.

  • @hockeydude1239 - I got used to mine in less than a day. I havent touched the mouse on my laptop since I hooked my Wacom Bamboo up. ITS AWESOME!!!!!

  • @hockeydude1239 So when your'e driving, you stare at the wheel the whole time?

  • I'm considering buying this tablet, but I have a question: does it have any resolution limits in Photoshop? I mean, if I'm starting new painting, I can choose any size of canvas?

  • @Tigrjono4ka no limitations :)

  • @EckyPro haha, ty xD I already bought one and tested. It's awesome, like you said! :D

  • The drawing looks cool at 1:26 :3

  • @hellaskaterr21 some kind of abstract line art :P

  • THIS IS WETTING MY APITIGHT FOR THIS IM SALIVATING ALL OVER THE PLACE OVER HERE 8P

  • mines wont work on sai

  • @kawaiixvocaloids done some quick googling. See if this fix helps: bit . ly/arIZtd

  • NINJA!!!! :D IM SO GETTIN THIS FOR X-MAS~

  • Which one is better suited for Photoshop: Bamboo Pen or Bamboo Pen and touch? Because I couldn't care less if I use the tablet as a new mouse, meaning I'm leaning towards the Bamboo Pen.

  • @TheBlueWind to be honest, the touch part of it is a bit superfluous. However, the Pen & Touch version has more pressure sensitivity and a larger resolution over the Pen-only version. You can turn the touch off, which is what I do to mine 99% of the time.

  • can you use them with any computer? Or does it have to be a certain type?

  • @ahhitsagiantpeanut any computer with a USB port and CD Drive :)

  • he sounds like Gabe from the office.

  • This looks to much amaturistic to be from the developers.

  • КГ/АМ

  • dibil -.-

  • can this tablet work on a DELL laptop???

  • @XxEndlingxx well as long as its not a Dell laptop from 1997 and has at least XP. It comes with a CD with drivers and all you need for Mac & Windows.

  • @XxEndlingxx yes

  • I'm gonna give these one more shot, cause they're looking a lot better. I had an older Graphite tablet, the pressure senstivity was laggy and way out of whack. As if it wasn't hard enough not seeing your pen when you draw... I'm too used to traditional work lol.

  • @youngdragon32 I have a larger Graphire 3 but I gotta say, I use this smaller one a lot more. I think it does have better pressure sensitivity. Check out my newer video (linked in video responses).

  • please oh please tell where you bought this .

  • @iyanasan2 well if youre in Australia you can go to buywacom.com.au or JB HiFi and barter the price a little bit. Otherwise, if you dont live in this awesome country then Google is your best friend :)

  • this is fucking shit

you cant even see what your doing on the tablet

  • @NeoTheEevee go to the newer video. Linked in red at the start of this video or in the video response section :)

  • @NeoTheEevee By the way: Tablets with a screen that you write on are upwards of $1000 this one is $70.

  • @warmonkey11111 Actaully it's $100 the pen only is $70

  • Comment removed

  • whats up with the lag in the drawing O_o when your trying out the pressure sensitive>

  • @shajou that was my computer, just being a bit laggy. works fine on other mac's. Check out the newer video I have posted about the tablet to see the better tests.

  • hey umm.. im getting one of those this weekend and im just making sure

    does the pen use batterys?

  • @XQawsome thankfully no. its powered wirelessly from the tablet itself. very cool tech!

  • @EckyPro wow, didn´t know that

  • lmao love the two dollar coin measurement and the "hide the fat-ness-gene" haha

  • I'd like to make people aware of a miraculous new piece of technology known as the volume knob - it hasn't been out too long yet, so I can understand why you're having so many problems finding it. Once you take off your helmet (yea it's covering your eyes, you couldn't see that?), please utilize it and stop spamming moronic "I can't hear you" comments..

  • Whats the point of having the touch? What does the buttons do that the pen doesn't?

  • @pwdrin Well it has multiple touch capability. So you can do scrolling and zooming with your fingers. Comes in handy as a nice big trackpad which is nice for web browsing I have found. For work purposes, it's not that overly useful. The buttons on the tablet can be assigned to keyboard shortcuts or mouse functions. I use them regularly with the pen in Photoshop.

  • I'm gonna buy the wacom pen n touch for $86 :D. Can't wait.

  • where can i download it mines says that in includes photoshop elements but i cant find it

  • booring

  • @86Ivar You should check out my newer video I linked up at the start, much better :) this was just done with my iPhone and no post-production.

  • o som está inaudível.I cannot hear anithing

  • @jangitirana Yeah sorry about that. Just recorded it on my iPhone, never expected it to get > 100 views. I have an updated and higher quality video, see the overlay at the start of the video.

  • @EckyPro

Thanks for your answer. I don´t speak

english very well. I buy the tablet Bamboo and I am trying to lear how to use.Your video heps me.

    Thanks

  • @jangitirana Sorry, was my first published video from my iPhone. Checkout the video linked in the screen annotations, better quality and sound.

  • you can tell it's new because of the freshly laid fingerprint smudges

  • I have a question, I'm about to buy a Graphic Tablet, But just like evryone else I don't know what's the perfect for digital painting, matte painting, t-shirts designs, logos. which is the best for this kind of work? I've got only $350, in Mexico city is $270 Bambo Fun Pen&Touch, and $340 Intuos4 Small. What Graphic Tablet you guys recommend to buy? Thanks.

  • @ANTHMX Its a tricky one. Since everyones situation is different what I say works well might not for you. For me, doing occasional work in Photoshop and Illustrator, the Bamboo P&T is a really good portable tablet. If you are gong to be serious then maybe the higher end models are better. Try before you buy I guess and keep the receipts ;)

  • I can almost hear that there is sound to the video.

  • @mydemon yeah. bad iphone mic :P Check out the link to the newer video on the overlay at the start of the video.

  • im a dummy...i thought the bambo touch was the pen and touch. now i dont feel like getting up and returning it. can someone tell me if i can get a pen that would work for my bambo TOUCH.

  • @xy274 ouch. yeah that is a bit of a trap. Return it if it is not to your requirements and get the pen version. To my knowledge you cant use a tablet pen on the touch only model.

  • @EckyPro thanks...i returned it, and saw a genuise tablet on my way home. I decided to get that b/c i just couldn't wait to start painting on the comp:D check out my channel for the video i made using the genuise tablet.

  • @xy274 You would want the bamboo Pen & Touch.

  • i prefer the intuos 4

  • I want a tablet that I can see my drawings on. I mean it's just blank. It's hard to draw a perfect picture while looking on the comp... -.-

  • @Snowpoint1 I had the same thought but you get used to it pretty quickly. If you have the cash there is the Cintiq line of Wacom pads that have screens. Very expensive and not really worth it IMO. It's not something that hinders work its just getting used to it at first. Plus the pad's allow you to hover (hold the pen above the surface) so you can track your position w/ a cursor as normal.

  • @Snowpoint1 the cintiq is one with a screen but they cost between1000 to 2000 dollars

  • @Snowpoint1 yes you can have one of those but they are expensive, well that depends on your view because macs are really expensive and people like them whereas a cheap pc can get the job done... chech out WACOM INTUOS 4

  • @Snowpoint1 WACOM Cintiq 21UX LCD Graphics Tablet lol dear tho

  • @Snowpoint1 best buy buddy they are not even expensive the price they give is worth it totally worth it

  • @pitcheroz small

  • SPEAK UP!

  • dam laggy Macs, my 4 year old windows dont do that lol

  • @richman117 hehe. I wont say much but damn laggy Adobe didnt move to Cocoa and 64bit till CS5 :P It flies on my new laptop.

  • @Dinowafflesx3 Yes :)

  • Is there a software for THIS bamboo to show another person what I'm drawing THROUGH SKYPE????

  • @fleur4198 Actually it's pretty simple. Skype has a screen sharing feature now so just fire up Photoshop and turn on screen sharing in a Skype call, like doing a video Skype call.

  • @EckyPro GREAT!! :) Unfortunately I can not check it right now, just do you know if it's working with skype version 3.8.0.188 ??

  • @RandomlySlithered

    How do you like it?

  • nice that this one doesn't look like a toy like the older one.

  • gonna buy 1 i wanna start drawing anime !

  • @RottenPudding weebo.

  • @RottenPudding that is one of the reasons i want one!!!! >.<

  • @RottenPudding its manga.

    anime is animated manga.

  • if u make it animated it become anime right ^^ ya yur right .its manga..

  • Trouble is you can do that with a mouse its the finesse its needed for and that seems to be a fail in this video :(

  • what is the difference between the bamboo pen and the touch? To my understanding, the pen is for drawing and the touch is for ???

  • the touch is basically the laptop versoin of a mouse. You can click scroll and a couple extra features like zoom and such.

  • @TheImmortalBlood using it as a huge trackpad

  • bambo pen & touch is for drawing as well as for zooming in a picture much like an iphone using multitouch =)

  • @TheImmortalBlood the touch is a multi-touch track pad like the macbooks and iphones (zoom in and out with 2 fingers, swipe back and forward through web pages and 2 finger scroll) They also have pen and touch which has both.

  • just ordered mine =D

  • Disable the handwriting recognition to get rid of the lag.

  • how to do that? sorry im new...

  • Go to System Preferences>Hardware - Ink

  • mine doesnt lag at all i think he might just have a slow computer

  • I stopped it after ten seconds; you cannot hear what he is saying...

  • @oChuckNorriso click the big red button at the start of the video :) Goes to a new version of the video with better sound and video.

  • @oChuckNorriso turn it up idiot.

  • @oChuckNorriso There's this really cool thing, it's called the volume button on the video, and there's this knob-thing on the speakers that magically lets you hear him better! You should trying using it sometimes, you fucking idiot.

  • lol this was funny :P also the lag might be due to ur hardware, or like what you said it could be photoshop

  • SPEAK LOUDER

  • Intuos 3 and 4

  • OMFG! Lags on 0:51 and 1:01 are really annoying =/ Are they appear often?

  • I have the bamboo pen and yah, the lag ALWAYS happen, and is reaLLLY annoying and keeps messing up my work..... which gives me a second thought about spending for it~

  • depends on the computer

  • so does it actually come with the program and not just the trial?

  • It comes with Essentials.

  • Hey, I'm thinking of buying this... Erm, can you take it away from the computer? Or can the usb be taken away? I'm curious.
