  • Why does this save so much less time in NYM?

  • Just because the in-game timer (which only NYM has) slows down when you enter slow-mo (for killing) and the route in my NYM run just involves more killing basically. In DoA it would be a lot slower because that is timed in real time. Also the timer slows down very slightly while rolling so there is less percentage reduction in time.

  • Ok, I see what you mean. I have recently started to speedrun NYM after watching your speedruns. I don't know if I'll beat your NYM time but I'll try. :D

  • @cowking321 Well good luck :) . Anything under 30 minutes is a LOT of work though. You should be able to easily smash the remedy par time following my strategies though!

  • Yup, I've already beaten the par time by about 10 minutes or so.

  • Hahaha, nice. How the hell did we miss this skip before?

  • I know! Just when I thought the route was optimal!

  • Like in the movie, Max just relaxes in freezing water.

    Nice route :]

  • Oh yeah, I didn't note the reference to the movie when I found it :D The game is much better than the movie anyway though.

By the way I posted on the SDA forums with my full practise run as I am looking for anyone who can spot any skip or anything I am missing so if you have any time it would be cool if you take a look given how close I am to breaking the 1 hour barrier (1:02:58 currently, or there abouts).

  • I will check your practice run asap.
