I am from North Georgia. There are 3 main accents in Georgia. Mountain, Piedmont Plain, and South Georgia Accent. The Costal accent could be considered a 4th accent also.

As Randy Owens from the singing group, Alabama said, Ill speak my Southern English as proudly as I please! Now matter whee you are from be proud of your accent and culture!

@sailwed1 Thank you for attempting to clarify. I use youtube to look up accents for references and the videos are always clogged with people claiming "they don't talk like that therefore the vid is faked" or people showing off their fake accents. It's a pain when you're researching!

OMG. I'm from north georgia, and I don't have an accent. Well, I don't have a southern accent. I sound more like wisconsin or something, I guess. I am surrounded by all these people with this accent, and it's so cute! People make more comments on how i say "Nevada" than anything. hahaha
