  • Beautiful

  • I can tell the influence of the stride piano has met with his genuine style.

  • What I like about this tune is you can follow the evolution of deconstruction through Fats Waller & Art Tatum before Monk .

  • I can't get over this version. His mumbling in the beginning is priceless.

  • I love this song

  • Monk is cuter than Lulu!

But He never get back in NY town.

    It makes me cry.

  • @HOTCOKEORDERS

Well, only because the divine Mr. Monk has gone on to Jazz Heaven. It's the one right next to where all good cats, be they jazz or just beloved companions, go.

And I say this as a born again Christian.

  • Best version out there, all the real pimps and hustlers know.

  • This is music that makes the sun come out!

  • @postatility its raining here

  • My girlfriend gave me this record for my birthday, and I have to say my muscles have memorized the placement for the needle for this song exactly from playing it so much XP Just amazing!

  • One of the happiest things ever recorded!!A sure cure for ,well, whatever ails 'ya.

  • thank you so much for posting!!! this is a big favorite. thank you!! it's truly happy music

  • This is classic Monk! If you've never seen him play this song, I strongly suggest that you check it out. His band with Butch Warren and Ben Riley swing from the highest trapeze!

  • this is cool i love when the rest of the band comes in. but i do like the other live versions better
