He's the crews Musictian and he also uses a sword he keeps hidden in his cane. He was the first mate of his formor crew the Rumba Pirates, then became Captain of the crew then his captain became ill along with several others in the crew.

Laboon made friends with the Rumba Pirates (Brooks old crew) of the West Blue when he was a baby. He followed them over Reverse Moutain. Brook and his crew promised to return to Reverse Moutain and reunite with Laboon...but tragic events took place that stopped that from happening.

Some of the crew became infected with an incurable illness including the captain. The cpatain took the crewmembers that were sick and tried to excape over the Calm Belt...but ended up dying.

The remaining crew contunied on until they entered the Forourian Triangle were they were attacked by enenies wealding posioned weapons.

They ended up dying from the posion but because of his DF Brook was brought back to life.

Laboon has those scars on his head from banging his head into Reverse Moutain trying to get back to the other side. Luffy stopped him from continuing this by painting his Jolly Roger on his head and promising to return.

Yes mostly because of his Devil Fruit. His fruit allows him to return from the dead, but the Folourain Triangle was covered with fog and Brook as a soul spent a year looking for the ship and when he finally found the ship with his body on it his body had rotted away to bones.

He then spent 50 years alone on the sea with only the sceletal remains of his nakama for company. Then his shadow his stolen 5 years before he meets the Strawhats.

Oda already gave the ability to sprout wings to Robin. She does it by making the wings out of mutible arms she sprouts from her back, but she is limited to how long she can fly for.

what I like about one piece is you know it will be long and it still keeps your interest. Can't say the same for some others I watch where sometimes I just want an ending, curse you Takahashi you are great but your plots barly ever develop.

Yeah same thing all the time with Inuyasha. They search for jewels, beat up demons, filler episode, Naraku shows up, they fight and he runs away or supposidly is destoryed, Kikiyou shows up, tension between Inuyasha and Kagome, Kikiyou leaves or "dies" and more tension or Kagome leaves issuing ANOTHER filler episode or more to end the arguemnt. Then they start searching for jewels and the pattern begins again.

Someone just KILL Kikiyou so that something new is open to happen.
