agreed. Vitamin E oil is generally the recommended type for promoting healing.

There are other natural oils that can be used as well if you feel like experimenting. Probably good to use a 'cold-pressed' oil.

EXXXON 10w50 is not.

You would also want to avoid any oils that are recommended for cooking. High heat oils have few qualities that are of any benefit here.

Try your local health food store. If it is sold in a fridge and/or has a dark bottle, chances are it's a reactive and helpful oil.
