I agree, but that was not my argument. Bullying happens during childhood. There have been a number of instances where teens bully and abuse other teens, which leads them to suicide, whether gay or not. And, instead of claiming that, since some people were bullied and didn't commit suicide, it means that bullying is not at all related to teenage suicide, we instead prefer to research into it.

YOU can conduct peer-review. Peer review mean that, when a study, an experiment or whatever is conducted, a group of experts on the field repeat it and study the process. Then, if they reach the same conclusion, happy days. If not, it's disqualified. Simple as that.
as if you cant get peer review anything to say either side. years ago i use to eat oatmeal a lot. then one day some scientific something or another came out and said oatmeal cures colon cancer. the next day oatmeal was sold out and it was crazy for weeks and weeks. then about 6 months later they came out and said oatmeal doesnt cure colon cancer. i am completely unimpressed with the whole process

I agree, but that was not my argument. Bullying happens during childhood. There have been a number of instances where teens bully and abuse other teens, which leads them to suicide, whether gay or not. And, instead of claiming that, since some people were bullied and didn't commit suicide, it means that bullying is not at all related to teenage suicide, we instead prefer to research into it.

YOU can conduct peer-review. Peer review mean that, when a study, an experiment or whatever is conducted, a group of experts on the field repeat it and study the process. Then, if they reach the same conclusion, happy days. If not, it's disqualified. Simple as that.

as if you cant get peer review anything to say either side. years ago i use to eat oatmeal a lot. then one day some scientific something or another came out and said oatmeal cures colon cancer. the next day oatmeal was sold out and it was crazy for weeks and weeks. then about 6 months later they came out and said oatmeal doesnt cure colon cancer. i am completely unimpressed with the whole process

Most, if not all, articles you find on scientific journals are looked at and repeated by experts. That's peer review, the definition. What you look at is superficial things, or at least that's what I am getting.

Do you even understand the concept of peer-review? It is about studies and experiments - it means that, once you publish something, it is then looked on by experts on the field and regarded as valid or discarded. This is repeated and can be repeated to eternity.

However, comparing the car of the year to scientific findings is like comparing apples to oranges. When a paper is published, and maybe later the information goes into school textbooks, the experiments have gone through so many tests that it's unlikely to be false. If you have an alternative to the scientific method for verifying something as the correct conclusion from facts, I'm all ears.

In addition, there are instances where there are homosexual organisms in groups of animals, such as primates, which simply have different functions within the society.
