What a beautiful Burmese. She is so lovely, but such a sad life...living in a cage and being bred over and over. My 1 Burmese girl had 2 litters before she was a year old. Fortunately, I came and bought her. She is 6 years old now and when we go out for a collar and leash walk, if we go to a place where she hasn't been she still cries for her babies. (If I "cry" with her she is happy.) My 2nd Burmese yowls like she is in heat, even though she is fixed. Both spoiled, no rules, or claws clipped.
Your girls sound beautiful and like they have found the best home in the world. All Burmese must be the centre of our attention all the time. Lola is sooooo HAPPY and also in good health. We love her too much. She shares the house with 2 rabbits who come inside for exercise, and a chihuahua who comes to stay and play for a few days occasionally. Lola plays like a kitten and runs like the wind with the dog, Chilli, who belongs to my daughter. Lola say Hi to your girls :-)
@ChakaFerry My blue Burmese was isolated and the only attention she got was when she was in heat. So she learned to fake it. When she yowls and you go to her, she will jump up in a chair and stick up her wee bummie to be admired. Now she knows that I make more of a fuss if she shows me her tummy. She is such a loving kitty. Burmese do need lots of love and I am home most of the day with them= 2 happy Babes.I am using a new litter called, "Feline Fresh" and a large bag lasts 6 months. No odor.
True! Lola is now over 16 years old, and is still funny, and she loves to joke and have fun as often as she can. Most of all, she likes to join in and to be with us, preferrably on a lap or as close as she can be to me :-)
I see Lola is a very busy cat!!! I know how you feel about talking in the middle of the night! My Sandokan always try to capture the curtains in the bedroom! ;o)
Lola says thanks for looking. She sure is a temptress, tempts me all the time. We changed her name from "Emma!" We got her about 6 years ago after she was finished breeding!!! She lived in a cage and made all those babies! Now she is free and has us where she wants us. We looove her to bits. Could do without the talking during the middle of the night though!

Lola's great - and with an interesting diet - great name for a Burmese, by the way, she looks like a bit of a temptress.
