@SSaiyan6 Yes. Also the reload animation for the plasma cutter was different and so was the stasis. Not to mention that in the full game you can't grab a claw off a slasher when it's still alive.

@JonWilliamEden 2 is more epic with the scenes and because Isaac actually talks(Ur gonna piss yourself from how awesome 2 is. But get 1 first its more frightening because it has twitchers(hard ass necros 2 kill).Take my advice.

@TheDPG10007 ummmm...the first game isn't that long since it is only about 10 or 11 chapters long,i forget. the chapters in the first game are actually id say pretty freakin long but the second game has 16 chapters pretty obvious that it is longer because it has 2 discs -____- if u have anything 2 ask me about dead space 1 or 2 just ask because I know ALOT.

Uh, you kind of got that statement wrong. Dead Space had 12 chapters, Dead Space 2 had 15... and they're roughly the same length for an average run-through. Are you sure you know that much on Dead Space?

@deadspaceisaac7 There are two discs because they couldn't fit all of the data onto one DVD, it doesn't mean there is more content. Also, there are 15 chapters, plus they are all shortened in comparison to the first game, so Dead Space 2 is equally as long as the prior game.

games freaking awesome. im playing it right now. such great lighting effects, interactive effects, highly creative skills. so much you can do!!! BETTER THAN RESIDENT EVIL! Dont believe me?? Try it!!! Its not a pool of enemies on every corner. the puzzles are very interesting and fun to solve. great movment and great CAMERA unlike Resident Evil. u can upgrade ur weapons and even your armor. it all plays and is so great!

I jsut got Dead Space- it's freakin' awesome and scary- REALLY scary. Since I haven't bought or played Dead Space 2 yet, naturally, seeing that tri-legged Necromorph drop down scared the shit outa' me just now. XD This game looks awesome. @Sovember I guess- it does very from person to person. If you've been exposed to this kind of stuff for a long time it's just for the thrill. Whereas if you have a large TV, lights out, and surround it can alter the atmosphere drastically. It can get REALLY scary then. It all depends on who you are and what you do to play the game. I say volume up, lights out ;).
