I was doubtful before of my faith as a Roman Catholic. I explored and through the grace of God, I can now say I am proud to be one of the Church. My questions were answered, more satisfying than ever. They all come from the right resources; responsible people who have enough knowledge of the faith and of course, the standard references which are all agreed by scholars, whoever they may be. If you ask a question, who do you come to? Logically, you rely on the person responsible, a catechist.
It's a privelege and honour to be a CATHOLIC. One true religion, one true god, one promise that will save you at all times..."I WILL BE WITH YOU, UNTIL THE END OF TIME" What more could anyone want. We all as god's people have to follow the path through all our ups and downs and thru the merits of Jesus' love and sacrifice for us. Nothing's perfect but life was not made with a label of instructions.
I asked my pastor about saints during the sabbath, he explained it to me....now I believe I talked to one, got scared and nervous . Hope God gives me courage to talk and get closer to this "saint".
I don´t know if this is a prove of if the Catholic Church is the true Church, but i´m sure that nowadays we must pray specially for our good priests, and for the Church in general ( us included) to keep the faith in the divine providence to be able to get over those hard moments.
Indeed. I was taken aback when I saw how lovely St. Bernadette Soubirous appeared. . . since the late 1800s and she still appears forever in sleep just like the day she passed is just amazing to me.
What a beatiful gift we have received from God! The Church and her saints are a treasure that only in Heaven we will fully appreciate. Wonderful video and awesome song! Jesus my savior I LOVE THEE!!!
yes .. ST. BERNADETTE is the most beautiful among the incorrupt as she saw the Immaculate Conception Herself, the Blessed Mother, St. Bernadette's incorrupt body is a testimony of the authenticity in Our Lady of Lourdes Message in the 19th century .. Ave Maria!
ya well OBVIOUSLY that chemical cant stay on the pope's body for long, so after a while if it does where out, then the body will start to decay. but 40 sum years later, NADA!

I have the deepest respect for these saintly men & women,& I believe they were directed by God,but read up,there ARE scientific explanations for the excellent, natural preservation of their corpses. Some are,IMO,not so incorruptible-and the decay has neccessitated the need for masks in some cases. The Catholic Faith is a beautiful faith, but we need to have an open dialogue where folks can express doubt re this and not be labelled as heretics or hateful.
@blackwhimsy Sure the Scientific explination is very easy. When A man/women sais " I will take it to the grave" that is exactly what they will do. Regular people carry around , fear , resentments , anger, and 100's of other burdens
that are all called bondage. When we carry these ,dirty secrets ,resentments toward other, that we never let go, to the grave when we pass , that is what makes the body ROT. This is also what causes sickness in the body .
@blackwhimsy And If you want to the know " The Secret" to Eternal Life as they did. All you have to do is turn yourself over to God , say a prayer " and say Please God , releave me of bondage Of theyself " and make a confession and truly ask for forgivness for what you have done wrong, and watch fear, anger and resentment slip away from the body, and then physical , mental , and spiritual sickness leave also. And walk this earth as a Saint yourself my friend. God Bless
beautiful song..... and interesting images.... when u look closely u see some are in fact covered in wax..... so of course there is no rotting of the bodies..... underneath its a different story..... im sure in life these people were very holy..... and its a fitting tribute from their particular religion to keep their work alive.
wow, amazing story...proud to be a part of the catholic church, God had work so many miracle and grace to his people on earth, may this reliq of man and women of the champion of the catholic belief streghten our faith, amen.
Its so sad so many still dont believe in Christ, even after his death on the cross,he died for all, jews, everyone, we have incorrupt saints to show he is and was with them and us,fact,we have the true lance that opened his side on the cross fact in rome, the spronge he drank his last drink on the cross in rome, the crown of torns in notre dame, but to believe in christ u do have to open up,he died on the cross to save us all amen, and the incorrupt saints are one of many gifts he left us
This are the miracles of God Almighty, Praise the Lord. I can't even understand why the God created other religions. But I will forever believe that the Roman Catholic Religion is the only right religion.
The only right religion? It is not your right to say it is the only one. Think of all the rest of religions as rooms in a mansion. The mansion if the house of God. The different religions are the rooms. All in one.
Do you know we Filipinos always protect the doctrine and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, as i said " I will forever believe" that the Roman Catholic Church is the only right church and we Filipinos will protect this "claim" as you say it .... forever. We Catholics have very strong evedence of the life of Jesus to his Ressurection, the Miracles of Jesus to the Miracles of Saints, So how can you say that I do not have any evidence to substantiate my claim.
I am not here to challenge your religion. In fact, I am here to understand it and learn about it. But if you had to prove the miracles of Jesus Christ, how would you do it? Besides the Bible, how can I know that his miracles were in fact real? Where do you begin?
well when u ask of it that way, its like trying to say can you prove if science is real, or somthing like birth. the definition of a miracle is out of our hands. life itself is a miracle thats one thing that we can prove because its a gift from god, and so is the feredom of choice we have as humans. what jesus did, ppl think as it of like a magical thing, but really after everyperson he healed, he talked about forgiveness, he was trying to say that the god the father does the miracles.
But then, then if u want it to be a physical definition then you could talk about how doctors save lives. is that not a miracle too? but we ourselves cannot prove what hapend mellenias ago, lol. thats what the whole religion is about; to believe and have faith, and there are many scrolls and teachings that record such miracles. thats evidence enough is it not? but its not about that its like about when jesus appeared to Thomas, one of his apostles
before then he didnt believe that jesus was really resurrected and he had to "SEE" to believe the miracle was true. and jesus appeared to him, and jesus said (not exactly) but somthing like blessed are those who believe and dnt see, because they had faith in jesus and god and they didnt need proof cus they trusted in him. and yet jesus still appeared to thomas, because, thomas like some of us. live with the *see it to believe it* saying. thats what our faiths about.. its about believing
For the first time ever you will never fnd Jehovah's Witness people or those Evangelicals saying bad things about the Roman Catholic Faith as the saints and Mary are beyond all words for the Truth lies in this Faith. The saints do indeed intercess for us and they do not depart from us when we ask for their fervent prayers but I have known a lot of people who tread all over the Catholic Faith and say it doesn't speak the Truth but truly it does through the bible it is justified. Take that people!
they lived clean wholesome lives,, that why they are so preserved... the healthier you are the longer it takes to decompose... its not such a big miracle.. life in general is a miracle itself...
Well, you can actually go to all of these places and check it for yourself, in that case there's little or nothing to believe in, just go and get confronted with it!
Only in The Catholic Church has there been saints like Padre Pio, St Francis of Assissi,St Martin de Porres, Man that lived such Holy lives and were able to be ONE with God had the ability of performing miracles
God Bless The United States and may One Day this country come back to the REAL Church, The Holy Catholic Church
U R BEAUTIFUL...my hairs stood up2the very end of my body..my soul loves u,O One in Cristo Yeshua...V REALLY NEED SOME1 LIKE U TO STAND UP AND DEFEND THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH...
u r blessed,i shud say...
i respect u...
i dont know how to tell i respect u so much more...
you r right, but when body of saints make miracles then it is indeed, the funny thig is it is for the Catholic church has these things not in any other church, does that ring a bell? we r all in Christ, but he wants to tell us that we can be like him and in his immage, so God is blessed, and miracles will still happen as in Christ's time and now and forever
A plausible explanation as to why only catholic saints have so far been found to be incorrupt is that only in the catholic faith can one recieve the body of christ in the form of the holy eucharist.Could the recieved body of christ be responsible for this miracle in especially holy people?
Because if they copy all what is in the catholic they ended up to be catholic and thats the tiime that they come back home the real Church that Jesus Christ build.....
I know there have been Protestants who claim that it means nothing to them and proves nothing. This does prove something. This is a singular grace given only to those who have lived heroic spiritual lives according to Christ's teachings. These people were the epitome of sainthood. I do not see these miracles in any Protestant church. I do not see any Protestant Church in possession of any relics from Christs life such as the true cross, nails, St Veronica's Veil with Christs face on it etc...
in their faith and to draw unbelievers to Him. Congratulations on such a superbly illustrated and orchestrated show. Can anyone tell me who is singing this song? I'd like to get a copy.
Another thing I'd like to mention is it seems as though these incorruptible saints are simply sleeping. If they are bleeding, smell sweetly, moving (I've heard of one of them opening and closing her eyes spontaneously), and even talking, then that is really interesting!
I'm intrigued by the phenomenon of incorruptible saints. It makes me wonder though why St. Therese isn't one of them... It would be interesting to see if Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa's bodies are incorrupted if they are exhumed. Just another great mystery of Our Lord!
Thank you, Eyanfian, for posting this beautiful video. I didn't know (or maybe forgot) that Blessed John XXIII's body was incorrupt. It's supposed that the way he was entombed preserved him, but still...makes you wonder.
I wish we had these saints' relics here in the U.S. We can only pray here but the Europeans are so lucky to such close witnesses. St. Bernadette still looks alive and fresh!
Thank you to the person who took the time to post this. I have been away from the Lord and His Holy Church for a long time. Today, I am going to read my bible and pray. I will find a way to get to a church somehow.
While these are saints recognized on earth this does not mean that greater saints known only to God exist in heaven and on earth at this moment.God is one of mystery and awe and he sees all including the lives of those out of the spotlight those he has chosen to reveal only in eternity and it may be youre mother father brother or sister or the guy down the street!God is eternal and just may save the best for last!!
Someone mentioned that Lenin's body never decomposed after death. Lenin's body underwent a mummification process after death (albeit without the bandages). These saints didn't. Lenin's mummification reminds me of catholic prophecy, stating that the antichrist will use science to seemingly perform miracles.
They did a similar thing with Evita Peron's body when she died in 1952. They used a very elaborate scientific process to preserve her body. Even when it had been stolen and they found it over a decade later, it still hadn't decomposed.
I have been to Italy to see St. Clare, that was truly amazing. I hope one day to take a pilgramige (spelling is wrong I know lol) to France to visit St. Bernadette's resting place and to see the cave (she was my patron saint at confermation). God bless you, to who posted these videos...they are so beautiful.
i'm truly inspired by this short clip and the song, it's just simply amazing. thank you for posting this, it's God's grace that I chanced upon this clip.
Yes but they do not believe of the interssesion of saints.....and these saints are Catholic because they believed of the true presence of Jesus in the eucharist and they ate from Him like He ordered in the Last Supper (if tht helps lol)
i have an original photo of st bernadette resting in peace, taken by one of my relative who is an ordained priest, when he visited her during one of his priesthood courses.
she looked divinely beautiful, as though she is just sleeping.mesmerizing.
Incorrupt bodies? I am an atheist. If any of you can give me one single shred of evidence that any of this is true, that these are real miracles, I will get on my knees to worship God and beg his/it's forgiveness.
It was attempted the quick destruction of the bodies of three saints putting lime (leaves bones cleaned in a few days) on their coffins: St Francisco Javier, St Juan de la Cruz & St Pascual Baylón but in all the cases the preservation triumphed. In the case of San Francisco Javier, in spite of their initial treatment, several transfers, amputation of members, and a rude treatment of their body when it was forced to enter into a small tomb, it was still on good conservation state 142 years later.
An incorrupt body is a cadaver that does not decay. The person is dead, their heart no longer beats, they no longer are breathing, they are not conscious, and normally their body would decay completely.
In the case of these saints, God has preserved their bodies as a sign to us that they were following the true path to holiness, so that we might do the same.
So God gives signs does he? Why can't he go that bit further and show up?
And he only preserved these few bodies because they were following the true path to Holiness! That's strange because my Mother was a lovely person who always did her best for everyone. She was, according to a lot of people, a Saint!
However, I could see that after her death, she was was starting to decompose! She just didn't find that right path, did she?
A bit like the massive amount of Pedophile Priests in the USA!
fRANCE033 -- Might I observe that you seem a little angry with the Roman Catholic Church?
With regard to God "showing up" -- open your eyes and look around. Actually, more correctly, open the eyes God gave you, and look around at the world He created.
I am sorry you have lost your mother; many of us have seen the beautiful side of our mothers. It just goes to show how incredibly holy these canonized saints were; much holier than even our saintly mothers!
One additional comment, fRANCE -- God DID show up -- in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus proved His divinity by raising Himself from the dead -- no other person in the entire history of the world ever has done that. And might I suggest you won't be able to raise yourself from the dead after you have passed on?
Jesus not only raised Himself from the dead, but He claimed to BE God -- that is why He was sentenced to death. Many people claim to be God, but they turn out to have a mental illness.
Saints are given a job for them to do on earth. They are there to show us that we do have wonderful people in our lives ,just as you said" My mother was a saint" ,and that's all that matters..^^
The greatest miracle however is and will allways be the transition of the heart of a formal non-believer, by the grace and love of Jesus Christ. I hope this will happen to you, for this is the best thing that could happen to anyone. I've been there, take my word for it.
What a beautiful video !!. Dont get tired of evangelizing. Don't be discouraged by ugly comments... they will only contribute to increase God's glory. La grandeza del Señor traspasa nuestro entendimiento. Las muchas aguas no podran apagar el Amor.
I luved that song and the video. I am a Christian (Pentecostal) but I think these men and women of God are great examples as to how we should be. They lived lives that were completely devoted to Him and to serving Him. We too can strive to live blameless lives. It's not going to happen overnight so we have to keep on obtaining the greater goal and that's Jesus.
lupevelezfan, Since you are a Pentecostal you must be familiar with 1 Cor 15:51-54. Incorruptible bodies are spiritual bodies, not dead bodies. Can you "strive" to live blameless life? It is because of His not our righteousness not our righteousness!
Then why is there the command, "Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect?" Either we are to obey this, or it is an exageration, an interpolation.
Please, I implore u to watch my vid on the blasphemy of the saints last wk. on the tv show the view..99% responses were from proclaimed atheists, I want Catholics to post comments.....please
I did a video and all the maggots came out to criticize saints...i am sorry I pulled it but in my favs u will see a proclaimed atheist...ProfMTH, who collaborated with mine..also check out the Fox and Friends one on my channel about the disrepect to saints and Christians
Among all Incorruptable Saints my Favorite is St. Bernadeth Soubirous. Because she is the only Saint with a complete hair on her face the eyebrows and eyelashes her skin is still radiant has ever and her lips is still red and until now her body is not touch by time
This is truely beautiful it makes me sad that peolpe question gods maricles. I am a christan Roman Catholic. I will never change my faith event under threat of torture and dead.
the Church is actually not interested about this incorrupt bodies of its dedicated sons and daughter, the catholic church venerated them as a champion of the faith and urges it faitful to immitate their heroic christian life...
Bulyalives statement- "Why these people are still dead? A dead body whether it has decayed or not have no use to God." Why not see God's intended message... when u make such comment it is as good as the SATAN telling Jesus- what good for a Son of God (GOD) like you who cannot turn the stone into a loaf & satisfy ones hunger or what use of a God like you if you cannot throw yourself from the Temple parate and fly like a bird unharmed...It is right to see God's intent not man's.
If these bodies are still dead then they are corruptible. Incorruptible bodies will be alive and serving God forever. This what scriptures tell us in 1 Cor 15:54! Still I ask - What good are these dead bodies to God? or to you?
continued/ 1 Cor 15-54 and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."
Question - Why these people are still dead? A dead body whether it has decayed or not have no use to God. Ps 30:9 "What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise You? shall it declare Your truth?"
1 Cor. 15:51-54 Behold, I show you a mystery;we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. 52...and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed. for this corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal must put on immortality 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption and this mortal shall have put on immortality, cont/.
this mortal remain of the great catholic saints is seem asleep and waiting for the ressurection of the body as Jesus promised in his second coming in the end of time
in catholic church there is more than 250 incorrupt bodies of saint reported..The Incorruptibles: A Study of the Incorruption of the Bodies of Various Catholic Saints and Beati is a book by Joan Carroll Cruz, published in 1977. It provides brief biographies for over a hundred Catholic saints and beati whose bodies are reported to be incorrupt; that is, the bodies did not undergo any major decay after their burial and hence are considered to be under some form of divine protection.
I was raised catholic, and attended Catholic school all through. I had never heard of this. I am now doing more research since viewing both videos. How is this possible? What were some of the scientific explanations? This is fascinating.
When our non-Catholic brethren, who think it is their "duty" to draw Catholics away from the one True faith, are presented with the topic of the incorruptible bodies of the saints they have no arguments to explain the phenomena away. They quickly try and change the subject but they usually end up running away. Next time one approaches you, try it and see;-)Then ask for our wonderful saint's intercession in the conversion of the non-Catholic.
Thank You Very Much for all the videos and and the music..God Bless You!!!

theundefined18 2 years ago
But then, then if u want it to be a physical definition then you could talk about how doctors save lives. is that not a miracle too? but we ourselves cannot prove what hapend mellenias ago, lol. thats what the whole religion is about; to believe and have faith, and there are many scrolls and teachings that record such miracles. thats evidence enough is it not? but its not about that its like about when jesus appeared to Thomas, one of his apostles
theundefined18 2 years ago
before then he didnt believe that jesus was really resurrected and he had to "SEE" to believe the miracle was true. and jesus appeared to him, and jesus said (not exactly) but somthing like blessed are those who believe and dnt see, because they had faith in jesus and god and they didnt need proof cus they trusted in him. and yet jesus still appeared to thomas, because, thomas like some of us. live with the *see it to believe it* saying. thats what our faiths about.. its about believing

A plausible explanation as to why only catholic saints have so far been found to be incorrupt is that only in the catholic faith can one recieve the body of christ in the form of the holy eucharist.Could the recieved body of christ be responsible for this miracle in especially holy people?

I know there have been Protestants who claim that it means nothing to them and proves nothing. This does prove something. This is a singular grace given only to those who have lived heroic spiritual lives according to Christ's teachings. These people were the epitome of sainthood. I do not see these miracles in any Protestant church. I do not see any Protestant Church in possession of any relics from Christs life such as the true cross, nails, St Veronica's Veil with Christs face on it etc...

Another thing I'd like to mention is it seems as though these incorruptible saints are simply sleeping. If they are bleeding, smell sweetly, moving (I've heard of one of them opening and closing her eyes spontaneously), and even talking, then that is really interesting!
CarmeliteGirl726 3 years ago
I'm intrigued by the phenomenon of incorruptible saints. It makes me wonder though why St. Therese isn't one of them... It would be interesting to see if Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa's bodies are incorrupted if they are exhumed. Just another great mystery of Our Lord!
CarmeliteGirl726 3 years ago
Thank you, Eyanfian, for posting this beautiful video. I didn't know (or maybe forgot) that Blessed John XXIII's body was incorrupt. It's supposed that the way he was entombed preserved him, but still...makes you wonder.

BurtWilson1 3 years ago 5
They did a similar thing with Evita Peron's body when she died in 1952. They used a very elaborate scientific process to preserve her body. Even when it had been stolen and they found it over a decade later, it still hadn't decomposed.
But that was science. THIS is miraculous.

Incorrupt bodies? I am an atheist. If any of you can give me one single shred of evidence that any of this is true, that these are real miracles, I will get on my knees to worship God and beg his/it's forgiveness.
smellarm 3 years ago
It was attempted the quick destruction of the bodies of three saints putting lime (leaves bones cleaned in a few days) on their coffins: St Francisco Javier, St Juan de la Cruz & St Pascual Baylón but in all the cases the preservation triumphed. In the case of San Francisco Javier, in spite of their initial treatment, several transfers, amputation of members, and a rude treatment of their body when it was forced to enter into a small tomb, it was still on good conservation state 142 years later.
EvilSchizoGenius 3 years ago 7
To smellarm:
You asked for "one single shred of evidence that any of this is true" -- yet, this video just offered you perhaps 30 substantial pieces of evidence.
These incorrupt bodies can be viewed by both Catholics and atheists alike. Go to Paris, France, and see the beautiful St. Bernadette for yourself.
My prayer is that you open your heart to the Truth, and worship the One living God. Remember what Jesus said, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
God's blessings,
Jim

Does anyone out there knows what the mean "incorrupt bodies"? If they are incorrupt, then why are they still dead?
chichi2joe 3 years ago
chichi2joe --
An incorrupt body is a cadaver that does not decay. The person is dead, their heart no longer beats, they no longer are breathing, they are not conscious, and normally their body would decay completely.
In the case of these saints, God has preserved their bodies as a sign to us that they were following the true path to holiness, so that we might do the same.
God's blessings,
Jim
DrJim55 3 years ago 3
So God gives signs does he? Why can't he go that bit further and show up?
And he only preserved these few bodies because they were following the true path to Holiness! That's strange because my Mother was a lovely person who always did her best for everyone. She was, according to a lot of people, a Saint!
However, I could see that after her death, she was was starting to decompose! She just didn't find that right path, did she?
A bit like the massive amount of Pedophile Priests in the USA!
fRANCE033 3 years ago
fRANCE033 -- Might I observe that you seem a little angry with the Roman Catholic Church?
With regard to God "showing up" -- open your eyes and look around. Actually, more correctly, open the eyes God gave you, and look around at the world He created.
I am sorry you have lost your mother; many of us have seen the beautiful side of our mothers. It just goes to show how incredibly holy these canonized saints were; much holier than even our saintly mothers!
fRANCE, I pray you find peace.
DrJim55 3 years ago 5
Well Said brother,amen...
jogar45 3 years ago
One additional comment, fRANCE -- God DID show up -- in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus proved His divinity by raising Himself from the dead -- no other person in the entire history of the world ever has done that. And might I suggest you won't be able to raise yourself from the dead after you have passed on?
Jesus not only raised Himself from the dead, but He claimed to BE God -- that is why He was sentenced to death. Many people claim to be God, but they turn out to have a mental illness.
DrJim55 3 years ago 6
Saints are given a job for them to do on earth. They are there to show us that we do have wonderful people in our lives ,just as you said" My mother was a saint" ,and that's all that matters..^^

fRANCE033,
God bestows different gifts on each one of us. It is not time for your mother's body to be glorified with all those gone before us yet...

I luved that song and the video. I am a Christian (Pentecostal) but I think these men and women of God are great examples as to how we should be. They lived lives that were completely devoted to Him and to serving Him. We too can strive to live blameless lives. It's not going to happen overnight so we have to keep on obtaining the greater goal and that's Jesus.
lupevelezfan 4 years ago 6
lupevelezfan, Since you are a Pentecostal you must be familiar with 1 Cor 15:51-54. Incorruptible bodies are spiritual bodies, not dead bodies. Can you "strive" to live blameless life? It is because of His not our righteousness not our righteousness!
bulyabalive 4 years ago 2
Of course it is not by our righteousness. :) We can just strive to live like Jesus but we will never be perfect. Only Jesus is.
lupevelezfan 4 years ago 2
Then why is there the command, "Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect?" Either we are to obey this, or it is an exageration, an interpolation.

Still I ask - What good are these dead bodies to God? or to you?

in catholic church there is more than 250 incorrupt bodies of saint reported..The Incorruptibles: A Study of the Incorruption of the Bodies of Various Catholic Saints and Beati is a book by Joan Carroll Cruz, published in 1977. It provides brief biographies for over a hundred Catholic saints and beati whose bodies are reported to be incorrupt; that is, the bodies did not undergo any major decay after their burial and hence are considered to be under some form of divine protection.

And thanks EYANFIAN for another GREAT video!
