Michael Ball, You ROCK!!! You should have kicked Jonas off the stage and showed him how it's done. Nick had one facial expression- constipated. Here you can see Ball's giddiness and exuberance seeing Cosette.
I love Lea and Michael, but I always imagined Marius to be younger, about 20 (same as Cosette) and Eponine to be about 15 or 16. Michael is just too old for this part, unfortunately. Lea is the perfect age and voice for Eponine, although Samantha Barks is equal in both voice and talent.
I think that I could see OMO and LFOR a million times and they would still make me cry. No one could ever top her Eponine. There are no words....just amazing, magical.

Lea Salonga's voice has really grown to be amazing!!! It has made leaps and bounds. I prefer Lea as Fantine. Imagine that. I used to think no one can be at par with Patti LuPone's I Dreamed A Dream. But Lea has proven that it takes time to evolve into becoming an excellent and compleat artist. Lea's version of I Dreamed A Dream is now the epitome of who Fantine is. Lea, thank you for giving us your talent and not stopping to develop your voice!
Couldn't agree more. Sure Patti was amazing in her Evita days, and no one can take that role from her, but when comparing Lea's Fantine and Patti's - I'd have to go with Lea on this one.
