Don't learn a skewed version of history from a law professor, but instead learn from distinguished historians. Benny Morris (Israeli historian) contradicts some of Dershowitz major claims. Norman Finkelstein has done extensive research in a bid to set the documentary record straight ie. to maintain a high standard of scholarly fact. Noam Chomsky was in the same Kabutz in Israel as Dershowitz yet it's only the lawyer of the two who stands for mashed figures and general falsehood. Surprised?

The term "chosen people" refers to the idea that Jews are the people chosen to carry the Torah, in effect it means only that Jews practice Judaism. As for your quotes from the Talmud they have to be put into context. The Talmud was the law of diaspora Jews, sub-nations within other populations. Thus the murder of non-Jews could not be prosecuted by Jewish law, it had to be deferred to non-Jewish courts. I suggest you actually understand Jewish history before you make statements like that.

I believe you have deepthroated too many IDF briefings. Israel has never been a democracy, it is a religious apartheid state- by Jews for Jews. How can it be a democracy when it is a self declared Jewish state-meaning preferential treatment for Jews. A democracy is predicated on an equal share in the direction of the country, not some apartheid hell inflicted on a minority. Hell, there are even laws that prohibit intermarriage and there is a powerful stigma for Jews that marry Arabs.

The Citizenship and Entry Law is one such example. The law, passed July 31, 2003 prohibits Palestinian spouses from obtaining citizenship, permanent residency and temporary residency status in Israel by

marriage to an Israeli citizen, a process referred to as family reunification.

Keep in mind any Jew anywhere- and his/her spouse is granted blanket citizenship.

Does this meet the criteria for 'prohibition against intermarriage? If not, why not
