This will only work if the other PC(s) in the network are in the same workgroup as you... If they have changed the default from "WORKGROUP," or have otherwise disabled the feature, this method will not work.

@Lboogie501 if your checking your wired/wireless network check on the router...access your router via browser usually your gate way go to command prompt type ipconfig /all and it will show it ifconfig on mac. logging into your router will have an attached devices section most known brands anyway :) no need for tools man.
