After 15 years in Europe it was impossible to adapt to burglar bars, security guards, high fences, nowhere to go for a walk in nature or a park, constantly being alert and permanently hearing about crime around you and even hearing gunshots in the neighbourhood.

Add to this the dangerous roads and general lack of law and order and safety and security, the collapse of the public service and the attitude of the government against Europeans.

Nie net misdaad nie. Daar's AA, BEE, korrupsie,ens. Eskom kan dan nou nie eers genoeg krag voorsien vir almal nie. Die homecoming revolution het geen geloofwaardigheid in my oe nie. Mense wat wil teruggaan moet tog sekerlik daarvan bewus gemaak word dat die probleme wat hulle agtergelaat het, nog steeds daar is. En dis nou maar wors, die oorgroote meerderheid ex-pats is weg oor misdaad en diskriminerende wetgewing.

Ek was ook al 2 keer 'n crime slagoffer,het 'n maat verloor asgevolg van die Crime wat handuitruk.. Ek voel dieselfde, die land moet eers die Crime probleem oplos voordat ek sal teruggaan.

Ek sit self oorsee en het nie planne om terug te gaan nie maar wat ek kan se is dit is interesant en belangrik wat hulle doen. Baie ander mense is buitelands nie oor crime nie maar oor hulle met kwalifikasies en ondervinding sit en nie werk kon kry nie. Nou het hulle 'n brug wat hulle wel help om werk te kry so terugaan is iets van belang vir hulle en Homecoming Revolution maak dit moontlik... nie waar nie? ;-)
