hi , i'm studing egyptian musical comedies and I would like to know where I can find the dvd or orther movies in complete. Thank you for your help ! :)
Of course they all played zills - until the '70s or so! Morocco of New York (Aunt Rocky) explained to me that we don't see too much of zill playing in films because Egyptian films were not recorded live, but they synched the voices and sounds later on, in a studio. So zills would be very hard to synchronize.
