I apologize for going quiet. I'm studying and have been very busy. You can buy The Movers' CDs at South Africa's biggest online shop, wwwDOTkalahariDOTnet
Under the Search drop-down , select "Music" instead of "All Products". Type
"movers" without the quotes and click on Go (or hit Enter). You'll will get the following Movers CDs "Hits, The" , " Best Of The Best - Vol.1 / Best Of The Best - Vol.2" and further down is "Tribute To The Movers" . The CDs are very cheap
@cloningprocess Thanks ever so much. I am not sure what 161 Rand translates to in English Money but that is what I have just paid out. I could do with out a few luxuries for a few weeks but the pleasure I and others will get from the music will be forever. Thanks again
@cloningprocess I finally got the Movers hits 1 CDs and they were a bit of a dissapointment. Out of the 20 tracks only about 4 were ones I remembered of their early stuff. The labeling on the CD is messed up too. The site I got the CDs from does not give a list of the tracks on the album so I don't think I will be getting there 2nd hits album. If you do have the time and can make me some copies I will gladly pay you for your time. I think the original masters of the albums must have been lost.

Are you sure that this is there name? I've been looking all over for any sort of their music online and can't find any. Please help, because this is real groovy
They were called the Movers. If you do a search for The Movers you get an American group so I added the South Africa because that is where the group came from. I to did many searches and found a web page that sold there music but they are always out of stock.
Yes they're called the The Movers. The music is actually from the 70s. You probably know their other killer track called Crying Guitar. Their music is priceless! I have just about all their tracks.Their stuff is pretty hard to get but you can try Gallo in Johannesburg, since most of the music came out on the Gallo label. Otherwise, PM me if you need more details.
@cloningprocess Well I have messaged you with not reply yet. But I see in the feature vidoes the Mover_ South Africa. Hope fuly you guys will upload all there stuff. Yeah I miss my Crying Guitar big time
@cloningprocess The strange thing about time is I was in Zambia in the 60's and remember the Movers before they started adding vocals to their music. I moved to UK in 1972. I find it strange you remember them as a 70,s band. Must be some time travel going on with the music lol
I have been looking for this music for the last several years. Please let me know where I can buy the CDs for the Movers South African Music. I live in Indianapolis, Indiana, U S A
@rosechinks did you get any help from cloningprocess getting you Movers Music? He offered to help me to but has never replied. Anyway I got 2 more track somewhere that I am going to upload soon
I do not have the whole album. We used to have all there albums until I got burgled. I am not sure how I got the tunes that I uploaded saved on tape. BTW the original hissed and crackled a lot. I have done searches on the net for Movers music with no luck. hopefully in the future someone else might upload some more. They only made 4 good albums and then added vocals and they lost there apply.
