  • @sixstringbear. hey man nice field where do u get the signs and banners

  • @Aew123510 Signs and banners were all donated by league members...

  • greatest wiffle field! btw how did you get the foul poles and dirt?

  • @yankeesfannyy27 The foul poles were made by one of the league's players...

  • There is nothing that i don't like about that field. I think my favorite feature is the dirt around the bases because it makes it look really pro. The tree in CF is sweet. I love fields with quirks like that. The landscaping is a nice touch, too. Backstop is cool too. Best wiffleball field I've ever seen.

  • really a big tree in cf other than that i like it

  • sick wiffle ball feild check mine out...no where near as goo as urs though..thts sweet mine was jst set up for my baseball party so we didnt do a bunch to it..

  • where is this at?

  • @bnewt97 Long Grove, Il... Check out video tour 2 for a better look at what the field currently looks like. This video was from 2 years ago and there have been big changes.

  • @sixstringbear thanks man i live in illinois thats awesome

  • @sixstringbear how far are the fences from home plate?

  • @Tc7961 75 in left, 79 in right... 100 in center... field plays much longer due to trees.

  • This is the first "Wiffle Ball Stadium I looked at yesterday and thought to myself how sweet one like this would be.By far the best one that lies within the realm of possibility to create. My friends and I were Wiffle Ball nuts as we were younger, amd from time to time,a few of us still get together and play a little bit. We always usually just made available surroundings work for us,random buddies yards etc.. as you know the drill. The distance and layout of your field is PERFECT,trees and all!

  • Also, what we used to do was go to baseball fields in the neighborhood and go to where 2nd base as and then about 10 feet further back and hit from there and use the backstop as the monster in center and then of course the outer dugout fences as homerun and the fence on the inner part of the field(front of the dugout) as ground rule doubles. Got me wanting to play wiffle ball badly!! Lol...Congrats on your field,I would love to do this someday...I am 34,so that sux!! Lol LOVE the ivy. GO CUBBIES

  • this is the best wiffleball field I have ever seen in my life... and you know jeremy? yeah we go to the same church!

  • @CoastaMonsta Jeremy plays every week. You should make him bring you sometime... And the field is better now. This was 2 years ago. New video coming in the next few weeks.

  • nice shirt

  • Do you have any house rules? Like what do you do when the ball hits the tree?

  • @patch3515 If the ball hits the trees it is still in play. We play 5 balls for a walk instead of 4... so there are less walks. Walks are boring.

  • How did u make the foul poles? and get like the logo's/banners. How much was that and your backstop??

  • This would be perfect without the trees but still beast

  • awesome man. im actually making one my self. the foul poles arent as good as yours though. really awesome

  • how do you get the ivy to grow up the fence?

  • @MyYankees19 Planted the ivy at the base of each fence post. As the vines grow thread them into the fence. It will grow relatively fast and grab a hold of the fence itself. It took about 3 years from planting to get full coverage on the fence.

  • @sixstringbear Thanks!

  • @sixstringbear i just built a wiffle ball field i need help like with the monster fence naming the field and bullpens. also with designs and stuff to make it look cool. can you give me some tips

  • @mattybaseballful First thing is if you plan on putting in a tall fence, rule number 1 is you have to dig down to build up... Meaning you want the base of the fence a few feet into the ground to it is steady. I named my field after my childhood golden retriever who died about 12 years ago... Find something personal or something that just sounds cool.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • how much did it cost to create it

  • @arodhamilton18 I'm afraid that is a question that cannot be answered. We have a $50 a year league fee from the league members that goes into maintenance all year. Field has evolved for 20 years, so no real answer.

  • @sixstringbear cool thanks bro

  • I really like your field and where did u get the fence for your backstop?

  • how did you make the poles?

  • a perfect 10

  • Bases are 45 feet. Mound is approx. 40 feet

  • What are your base measurements?

  • The fence is 100 in center, 79 down the right field line and 75 down the left field line... but we have a lot of trees that hang over the fence making it harder to hit HRs. If you have no trees, I'd consider making it at least 10 feet longer down the line... Best thing to do would be to take a bucket of balls and hit them all from the home plate area... That way you can get a better idea for how far the fence should be. Each field will play different because of how the wind effects the field.

  • What are your dimensions for the fence and for your bases? Trying to get an idea for the one I am building. Any info would be very helpful thanks!!!

  • thats pretty sick

  • Looks great! Always love to see fellow wfflers!

  • It is in the area... about 90% of the league are Stevenson graduates. The field is about a 15 minute drive from SHS...

  • Best wiffle ball park I've seen on youtube. Pure awesome!!

  • We are in the northern suburbs of Chicago.

  • damn where do you guys live man i have my field which isnt even as good as this nice job!

  • To be honest, I'm not sure. I would guess some sort of landscape supplier or hardware supplier. I was not the man behind the fence purchase.

  • nice field where did you get the fence at?

  • I'd say we play around 75-100 games a year (not including the championship tournament). We play about 25 weeks, 3-4 games each Saturday. Putting a price on the field is difficult because we have been building it for so long. We started the building process about 15 years ago and improvements happen each season. I wouldn't even be able to begin to put any kind of rough estimate on it.

  • hey man great field must have put a lot of heart into making it. i got a few questions

How many games are in the season?

how much did it cost for u to make this field?

  • We use lawn paint for the lines.

  • cool man

how did you make that lines?

  • nice field but would it not be easy to hit a homerun?

  • nice field

  • The tree is center was something we had to build around. There's only one mound. The other areas are just dirt cutouts around the bases that are ground level.

  • i think the feild is perfect but two things the tree in center feild and the two mounds but other than that its good

  • With all the annotations I feel like a "Pop-Up Video" producer.

  • Awesome! I love it.

  • I'll just have to redo the video with the props

  • First of all, LOVE the part where you drop the camera down to "grass-level." Secondly, that banner is from ME! Thanks for the props ;-)
