@duainebailey If it has nothing to do with goa why they play this sound on goa partys? Fullon, Goa, Prog etc pp. In the 80 and 90 the sound was beautifull. Today only dark noise all around me. :( It sounds like trash to me. Sorry.

@Goafraggle1980 the classic goa sound is still played at festivals...i've heard it at Voov and Fusion. Full-on is maybe the most popular at festivals now, but it's a bit boring for me. Darkpsy is still a little underground but it's become the natural successor to classic goa in terms of the parties, if not the sound. You might like Forest Psy, which co-exists with darkpsy at the festivals and sometimes has more melody. Check out Trold, Darkshire, early-Derango, Atriohm, Ka-sol etc.

@dhollseed Es muss ja nicht der klassische goa sein aber darkspy ist echt mal müll. Klingt lieblos und hingerotzt. So dark find ich das auch nicht. Da ist the delta, tim schuldt, xenomorph etc doch viel dunkler und tiefgängiger. Das was man heute darkspy nennt klingt für mich wie eine mischung aus thunderdome und happy hardcore. Klar sind geschmäcker verschieden und ich will hier niemanden seine musik verbieten aber das sehen viele so und sind nur angeödet von dem heutigen sound...

@Goafraggle1980 jeder zu sein eigene, halt...ich bin heftig darkpsy-süchtig, und das seit 5 oder 6 jahren schon, obwohl ich viele andere musikarten mir gerne anhöre (siehe mein profil für Neubauten, Harmonia, Deep Sweden usw).

In frühere jahren war ich aber classic goa-freak, vor allem die Distance To Goa CD's habe ich oft gern gehabt...jetzt aber herrscht darkpsy.  gick mal auf goabase.com für festivals die nicht unbedingt darkpsy spielen.

@MrNeurofx eh, es kann ja gerne böse und dunkel klingen, mag ich auch gern... aber mir ist das was heute unter darkpsy verstanden wird oftmals zu schrabbelig und eintönig... Kann ich ja auch nichts für ^^
