UPDATE: According to XBLA the game is scheduled to be realesed on june 30th. The available warriors are: Spartan Apache Knight Ninja Pirate Samurai Viking And a secret warrior from season 2 yet to be announced. I hope it will be as good as it looks. :)

Deadliest Warrior is absolutely horrible. Not only the tests on the show completely different between the weapons. Theres no possible way a computer can test a soldiers mental and physical capabilties, really the only cool thing is seeing the weapons effect on the dummies...

@Breadon92 It's for tournaments, not actual combat. And I don't care what weapons you claim to have. Japanese weapons aren't all that great to begin with, and neither are the techniques used with them.

Ninjas were mostly peasants from Iga who grew up learning assassination techniques that would be relatively useless in any other place in the world. They didn't use ninjatos. They used farming tools, usually.

And you don't know ninjitsu. If you do, I'm the Ard Ri Conchobhar.

The cape is all wrong. It should a leine with his clan's tartan patterned on it. The spearhead should be leaf shaped. The club isn't a shillelagh, it's a Germanic cudgel. And you know how often Irishmen fought naked? Not often. That was a Gaulish thing.

@killershinobi86 Accuracy isn't always as cool as the real thing. If you wanna know how a real Gael fought battles, we get most of what we know from ancient works kept by Irish monks since the Dark Ages. The most known is Táin Bó Cúailnge (The Cattle

Raid of Cooley). It's an epic about Cú Chulainn, the greatest hero of Irish myth, son of the god of the sun and war, Lugh Lamheada. I'm half-Ulster, so I've read it a million times. It describes true Gaels in great detail.

This is a terrible, terrible incarnation of an ancient Irishman. It might pass as an eastern Gaul, but I gotta say, this is pretty bad.
