This is what I've been waiting for. I used to subscribe to EGM back in the day, and am more than happy now that Mr. Harris is back and bringing the magazine of the past into the here and now. If the fine people at EGM are reading this, thank you, you've just won me back :)

Viewing EGMi on my MacBook hasn't felt natural, but i knew the format would be perfect for iPad. This is how screen paper is meant to be viewed! Can't wait to download the app.

Nice! But is it local, or do you have to have a network connection? I'd enjoy reading this on my iPod or Kindle or something...I really don't like reading websites much anymore, so I want the content in a magazine, or baring that as something I can read on a gadget.

I don't think I'm buying an iPad just for that one thing though LOL. Besides, presumably the iPad will at LEAST get bumped to 512MB to match the iPhone 4 at some point, and by rights you'd think they'd upgrade to like a Cortex A9

Now, the way they are displaying it on iPad is exactly the way they should be displaying it on PC from what I can tell.

It doesn't need the bar at the bottom on the PC version or the iPass stuff to be visible etc.

The iPad version looks spot on imo.
