I love seeing Adam Pascal in this role; it's so different and looks like it was a whole lot of fun for him. I hope to see him in another lighter role in the future. Shows what an amazing actor he is. I love it!

@shrubbmeister you are 50 years old you just dont understand modern performing. We can make it crude if there is one thing people always like watching and talking about is sex. This is a great dance and sung very well if you ever read the book you will know of this characters lust for sex. This scene is has to be sleezy i have seen many schools perform this and they lower it and its shit. its a dirty song it needs a dirty dance.

Adam Pascal revisits "Cabaret" in an interesting way in an episode of "Cold Case" from about two seasons ago - he is a cab driver who aspires to do a musical, and he audtiions for - "Cabaret!" He first tries out for the MC, and does a gentle rendition of "Vilkommen;" however he gets the part of Cliff, and it SO cute hearing him do (bits) of the songs. And then he gets shot. Typical "Cold Case." But he's adorable.

i saw a production of it and they were both girls but one was rather tall and her face looked like it was done by a hooker, but it was still a girl

Did you see the touring production with Wayne Sleep and Samantha Barks? Because if so, then it was a woman; it is only the Broadway Revival that had one of the ladies a man.
